    0-20k SSD Advise needed!

Yes Sabrent one is good - I have had it for the past couple of years too - have a 500GB WD SATA for quick access to portable software. I haven't bought any SSD yet - was still contemplating, but the Blade issues have been popping up recently as well. Refer the below latest ones on the same page...

    0-20k SSD Advise needed!

Thanks. I am leaning towards S70 Blade (1K more than my budget but seems to have a higher durability than WD). For the Sabrent, I had got it in 2001 from Amazon.com but it is now available on Amazon.in @ sale (republic day) here. It is one of the best reviewed cases for both NVMe / SATA support.

Thanks for the suggestions! Reliability wise, how do they hold up? I have heard some horror stories about the SN350 but SN580 seems to be doing better review wise. Also, any thoughts about the Black SN770? It is under 11k at the moment at itgadgetsonline.com although I haven't had any dealing...

Back to TE after 13 looong years!

Hello (new) world! I had joined TE back in 2010 when life was simpler and MP3 players were the music players of choice! In fact one of my initial queries on this forums was around the same... Now joining back to relive some of my past and also seeing what the future on TE looks like! SO a big...

Searching for an Indian electronic contact cleaner (like deoxit)!

Good call @n1r0! This is the WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner I am talking about. And yes, there are many local versions available now in the market and even Amazon.in. Come to think of it, my original ask was 10 years ago - and I had to get this from TradeIndia - how times change, lol!

Are cooling pads for gaming laptops really helpful ?

Which laptop do you own OP? It really depends if your laptop vents are in agreement with the cooling pad fans (intake vs outtake) PLUS the way your laptop's bottom chassis is designed (plastic vs metal). There are options like passive coolers which work best in scenarios where the challenge is...

Searching for an Indian electronic contact cleaner (like deoxit)!

Throwback! not to piss off the mods or anything, just wanted to say Hi and hope everyone here is fine! I used a bottle of Kaiser (still have some left after 10 years!) and now use the WD 40 version of electrical cleaner spray. Works great!

Do you carry pocket knives? If yes what blade do you carry?

I carry a Leatherman Wave (got it from the US a few years back) as a general EDC fix-all tool. I have the attached clip with it - easily slips in the jeans. Have been frisked at malls etc. but always manages to slip through.

Ok, so can I get Kaiser/ CRC contact cleaners locally? Or online? I will send enquiry for Kaiser, please let me know for CRC... Also, can CRC be used safely on plastic based micro switches (for example mouse switches)?

Searching for an Indian electronic contact cleaner (like deoxit)!

Thanks for the reply! So basically we don't have any decent contact cleaner in India! So Sad! I thought Phillips or someone would have made something in India too... So I can use the Isopropyl to clean small micro switches? Like mouse switches?
