@Dushie : Ya really lucky cuz I am placed in an area covered by three evdo towers :D ( I checked in google maps ) so i can shift to any room in my house & still I will manage to get 1mbps connection.

@Dushie : a coke can next to the device helped me to increase the speed up by 20-40kbps. :D with fluctuations for devices like prithiv coke cans should be inserted inside for devices like sierra it should not be covered I will keep experimenting with house hold stuff whrn time is right will buy...

Dushie : what you can try is you can come to my place & check with your modems if the speed matches mine that means everything is fine :) I am getting 170 plus with low signal -83dbm & a cococola tin can finally :D very happy Plz read this might help ...

@Dushie : your modem is rev A. but it should show connected to evdo but it shows evdo & 1x go to settings change it to evdo only & try again...

IT shows you have full signal !! hmm i dont understand with the speed test though ... Try downloading any software using idm that will be the real test :) CONGRATS !! I am happy for you...

See the difference between prithiv I stay in EVDO gold mine area but sierra aint doing good job with download speed but prithiv did !! not sure whats wrong . @cisco_tech & @kuduku ?? any inputs ??

You deserve more than reps :) could not have done without your help... Update 2 : Good browsing even though torrents is on ( so u need not pause torrents for browsing ) Even with low signal your getting satisfactory 1mbps connection screens coming soon .
