You could always sell what ram you have and get 2x 512 mb ddr 400 sticks. You can get for as low as 2.2-2.3k. This way you can use the ram when you upgrade to platform that supports dual chanel. just my 2 cents ;)

nikhilesh A8n sli is PCI E only. So for people who have a really good agp card a8v or neo2 is the best option. ;)
