If your using Win 7 use the inbuilt backup tool to create a recovery disk. It does a great job creating an image for later restoration.

PC Probe and other monitoring applications have been know to throw this sort of result up when run in tandem. It was a bit surprising that this happened, even thought the polling for PC Probe had been reduced. All in all it probably best to run just one monitoring tool at a time.

A low cost option you can try is TP-Link. They may not be that well know but their stuff is good. You could look at the TL-SG1008D. The only drawback is that it is not suitable for rack mounting as it uses a plastic case. TP Link products like Huawei are a rave in the Telecom / ISP segment...

Re: Alternatives for Corsair VX 450 An alternative to PSU from Corsair would be going with a RealPower Pro from CoolerMaster. A 470W should not cost more that Rs. 3500 or so. Also they operate at over 80% at max load and are bronze certified. Stay away from the Extreme Power series.

Shivam - From what I see your simply looking for a stop-gap solution. The SLI should be able to support Win 7 with a few tweaks. However if you still want to go with a motherboard upgrade go with a low cost G31 chipset or so. I think it would be pointless to spend on a mobo with DDR 3 support...
