Frist try replacing with one more cable and see if it works ..if it diesn't !!! then ur card has some problems.. in most cases the card will be out of warranty ..unscrew it and chk if any solderings (conntact points) gone loose ..

this is wht i have done to make it work for all 3 OS's 1.installed NWlink netbios protocall(in windows xp sp3) 2.click ADVANCED from the main menu and select advanced setings and click the network card ur using and make sure u have ticked all the 4 options here is the image ..

Better go with the KIS 2009 as 7 is the older version and bit of resource taker compared to ver 8 ...

got this after a restart .As u can see it failed to start apllication ..i installed 2.0.4 and slept (i think pc restarted becoz of power failure)..this is how my screen looked today morning Reinstalling fixed the problem ...might be somewhat helpfull to u .. For the reps part...

No mate !i added to the TRUST list in my KIS ..so no issues with Firewall.. i am now at different place, will chk the latest version in the evening and will post u back the results.. it logs in manually but doesn't when servers kicks off..

I Tried with 10,30 and 60 seconds ..windows xp is the OS ..yup its not logging in when logged out with the servers

Its not working with the auto login chk at any given time (atleast for me )..its hanging sometimes ..BTW i am using .net 3.5 framework

Even i am big fan of kaspesky..But i tried norton internet security 2009(Glad i did it)..which is very light on resources and also had good spyware discovery rate than KIS 2009 TRY IT TO BELIEVE IT :hap2:
