If there are senior users esp ladies in the house, top loader is the only way. Front loaders will increase backpains. Have used all 3 types - top, front & now defunct "vertical agitator." I will never buy a front loader.
also measure door frame width - all the doors thru which you need to take that machine beofre it can be installed. Some machines are wider and in that case you will be literally stuck.
Tab is best in your use case. Both Mi Tab 5 or 6 would easily fit in your budget. If not urgent, wait for the Dasara/Diwali sales. Check offline too during that time. Many shops price-match.

look at Asus VivoBook & Acer Aspire series, apply your filters. IdeaPad3 too.
Best would be if you are ok with used; you would get a 1 or 2 year old laptop with much higher build quality & most importantly display. Display is the biggest compromise in the low budget devices.
Moto is no longer exactly stock, they have added their own embellishments.
If that is OK, you can also consider the Nothing 2a in sales.
Lava too is close to stock.
