Direct Access Storage , I need but it has very limited features compared to NAS . Terramaster D8 is example, but is does not even have LAN port . Only Thunderbolt port. For another 10 K , I can get NAS + Storage backup + media player all in one .

I also have same configuration , soldered 8 gb 3200 and 16 gb 3200 on E16 , it's runs fine. Not sure about double rate speeds. Is there any way to check if it's running on dual channel mode with optimal performance?
