the mobo u have is an old chipset but it is a good one amongst it when u run 3x1gb ram either ur system wont boot, may get bsod,or computer may revert to single channel mode try running ur ram in dual channel mode .. ie either use 2 ram sticks / 4 ram sticks .. ur mobo does support upto 8gb...
