8600Gt kaput ...new graphic card needed !

I’m from hyderabad . i called computer bazaar and Gaffar said the 512 mb version wasnt available and quoted a price of rs.5900 for the 1 GB version :frowning: ..he also said he didnt have the FSP sagaII psu …

If u are able to get it from online then u can get the Sapphire on i had mentioned in above link or 512MB HD5670 for HIS 512MB version for 5k+shipping

Getting it online is a problem …thats why i was hoping if anyone could tell me where i can get it at a good price in hyderabad ..

Else u should get a quote of all the brands and rates available and the put it down here so that members can help u select the best option that u can get locally. I have seen ppl recommending Boomika in the price update threads. U can check that thread.

Why not new Sapphire HD4850 512 MB which is selling for 4.8K? HD4850 outperforms it in almost every test… If u want DX11 then buy HD5670 otherwise HD4850 is much more VFM

I tried calling swetha computers in CTC , but they weren’t picking up .and an other question … Are there any good alternatives to FSP SAGA II PSU ? i’m planing to get one below 1.5 k …and yeah i just don’t want to get another card for like 2 years ..so i was looking at the 5670

Zebronics Real Watts Pro ~ 1.5k

zebronics isnt on the list of AMD Certified power supplies .. :frowning:

Can you suggest one below 1.5k from these brands ..

Sorry for the trouble…

If u can spend 400 rupees more then buy Gigabyte Superb 460w PSU (400w) comes with 3 yrs warranty

Don’t connect your GPU with cheap PSU. Never save money especially when it comes to PSU. As suggested go with Gigabyte Superb 460w PSU then.

The 5670 uses an Arctic Cooling GPU cooler that is a dual-slot design…does it mean my mobo needs 2 PCI-E slots ? I have an intel DG965RY..will the card fit ?

it only means that it takes the space of two slots, which means u will have to say goodbye to the pci slot just below ur pci-e slot.hope i cud help.

oh ok thanks…

dude buy the 4850 ddr3 512mb one. u have one piece left in shweta.. its betters 5670 by a margin man!!

+1 to the above since u r going for a good psu

The 4850 is cornered by a HD 5750 + lower power consumption safe to concur the HD 5670 will run cooler, quieter and more efficiently  and will perform similar to 4850 in most cases

5670 can never perform similar to a 4850.it is supposed to sit between 9600gt and 9800gt.

The 5750 vs 4850 is a no brainer as the 5750 costs much more than the 4850.Would u pay 2 k more than the 4850 for a 5750 and not assume it to be a better peroformer .if power consumption is an issue the 4770 is a good option also.performs a bit lesser than the 4850.Check out these links.Even the 4770 kicks the 5670’s ass
