In India stray dogs > Pollution. People will come out protest for dogs but not for the toxic air they and their child( and the dogs) are breathing.

There were some protests that were held in Delhi, but protests these days are much harder to organise than they were back in the day. The government has imposed a lot of strict measures against protests - prior permission, and what have you needs to be sought. Theyâve even moved protests from Central Delhi to the fringes of the capital, with the excuse that these protests disrupt traffic and everyday lives of people - which is essentially what protests are supposed to do, disrupt and gain attention of the masses that would otherwise not pay any heed. Earlier people used to come out on the streets at the drop of the hat. Onion prices are high? The opposition would be out with onion garlands around their necks. Death by onion. Now people just accept shitty quality of life, inflation, etc. as a part of their lives.

People voted for the change they wanted and they got it.
Change merely for the sake of change will only bring chaos, apathy and will be detrimental to societal dynamicsâŚ

It is hard to even go out in early morning for a walk due to these dogs and i live in our national capital.
The street dogs behave differently when they are in a group.
People of India are stuck between - a well in front and pit behind( Aage kua peeche khai)
I Donât blame people for trying to bring this change even if it was just for sake of change.
This one family had taken it for granted to be in power. They were given enough time to set the course of this country for a better future and more unified and organized system.
But all they did was turned it into a Game of thrones . one country with 10 different rules for 10 different society âŚtrying to please everyone and you will end up pleasing no one.
basically putting seeds for more divide and rule after British left.
They bought reservation to protect Dalit and tribes and other weaker section of the society but what they should have done instead punished the abusers more harshly instead of throwing bones . You dont bring change in society like this.
and then ofcourse another Political Party rose to the idea of protecting the majority ( Hindutva) as majority started feeling left out and taken for granted and now as we see they playing their own power game too and corruption reaching its peak . Media is sold out too. So even more mess to deal with.
I can go
but All this mess has a root in congress if I am being honest about this and I dont care about being called whatever names people have these days for people trying to speak the truth .
I actually want Congress to come back to power to be able to point out same corruption and Media sold out to other side also. Hope they can see the real picture that we common citizens are caught in Game of Thrones and our Political parties are just two different sides of same coin.
I dont see any lessons to be learned here other than understanding the core issue that corruption will still be there even if Congress comes and Media will be sold out again only singing different tune and those who were today abusing congress will change sides and abuse BJP.
it has happened before and it will continue like this unless something drastic happens bought in by a revolution or a major war .

just yesterday ⌠about 6-7 dogs took over the streets here as they were fighting other dog from different area. People were cornered in that narrow road.
Dont know when they might pounce on you if you happen to cross them when they are aggressive.
It doesnât matter which party is in centre or state as long as the government employees remain same.
Be it PWD, MCD, DSIIDC, DDA etc. Every one of those departments is rooted in corruption.
They excel in avoiding responsibilities, and taking bribes. They donât face any repercussions either. After all government jobs are âsafeâ.
For example, one of my friend has a factory in industrial area. There is no water supply in that industrial area despite having water pipelines. The reason behind this was cuz both MCD and DSIIDC are arguing amongst them under which department does this area comes from. To get water people have to either pay for tankers or construct a borewell.
If someone constructs a borewell then representatives from every department come there asking for a bribe as borewell isnât allowed as per laws.
The government should do job reforms in which they should remove job security and make it performance dependent.
If the bosses are not corrupt the employees will not dare to do corruption either.
Much of these bribery cuts goe to the top also.
Each hierarchy in the govt. Has their percentage predetermined already.
Why do you think govt. Keeps giving contracts of building roads and bridges to companies that have poor performance records or not even have any experiences.
Because they get much cut out of it and if any shit happens like a bridge collapsing they can easily pass the blame and appear clean.
The whole system is so well organized in corruption that the top guys always get away . No matter how worse it gets and at worst someone from the low hierarchy is punished that too until the media and public cry fades away.
Govt. Employees are made to feel secure and treated like ViP to some extent because they are the backbone of this corruption and Netas getting their job done behind the scenes.

CWG scam ran into 70000crores . You think only 2 people ( Kalamadi and the other guy ) could have pulled this amount of money alone.
They were just scapegoats in the biggest game.
i can keep giving 100s of such example in this country.
Not once has any big leader in this country properly served his corruption charges.
They play their game so well now that we just are mere spectators.
even the justice system has gone to the dogs.
There is no hope left for politicians. It is extremely hard to find non corrupt politicians.
Judiciary and Police system are equally corrupt.
The issue is that with all all three corrupted, there is nowhere for common people like us to go. We donât have any power to change anything.
Media acts as lapdogs of political nexus.

Stray dogs are attacking, maiming and killing people as if itâs routine. Nothing much changed yet than grand statements from SC.
So are wild animal attacks destroying rural farm lands.
