Is this a dual core
The hsf looks damn cool.
The problem is that although its a Athlon FX series processor, for 3k, these days people can get a dual core processor from AMD or Intel that can seriously out perform this and consume a lot less power.
This would be considered seriously only by people who have an old rig and would like to give it an extra lease of life without upgrading anything else. Even that would be rare, so you will have to wait patiently. 
I dunno why you bought this recently but you have to be very very patient imho. 
Recently one guy was selling new Opteron 180 for 2.5K+ shipping iirc.
You can get used X2 or opty 939 chips for much lesser.
That would have been much better for use as well as resale, only if one is very keen on putting a lil more into an aging 939 rig.

Recently I got a new A8n-SLI as replacement for my nearly 3 year old A8N-E.
So I thought that I can use it for 1-2 years more just as download rig. But su**ing ASUS board died within a week 
buy a decent s 939 board - should be availble @ 1k
