COD feels much safer.
If payment is made before hand, and delivery is cancelled due to any reason… we would be reliant on Amazon to get our money back.
Even though the item seems to be amazon fulfilled, but still feels risky considering the amount.
I would strongly suggest to not order if you are only ordering with the delusion of getting a motherboard, RAM and SSD along with the CPU. This will NOT happen. But whoever has the itch, for science, please go ahead.

I have had two instances where Amazon’s delivery agent marked an item as delivered, but it was never actually received. Both items were of relatively low value.
When I reached out to customer support chat, the delivery agent called me immediately to explain that it was getting late, and due to an emergency, he had to leave earlier than usual. He assured me that the item would be delivered the following day and kindly requested that I not escalate the issue.
I understood that delivery agents often work under a lot of pressure, so I decided to wait. Sure enough, the item arrived the next day. However, the system still showed the item as delivered a day earlier.
Knowing this can happen, couple with our scenario here, which clearly states non-returnable, things can go south pretty quick.
Of course, this represents the worst case scenario. One would have to be exceptionally unlucky for this to occur.
There’s no chance of this being an entire bundle - that’s an almost 50% off market price
Let me share a tip for future
When ever you see a deal like this just go to product specifications and look for ASIN and if the ASIN matches any one item in the bundle, then only that item will be dispatched. If the ASIN is different from each item in the bundle then you hit the lottery. Just enjoy.

What if cod is not available
That’s the crux of the matter. If you have a use for this processor, then go ahead.
But from my recent experience with Amazon and Clicktech, I’d advise buyers to be cautious with high-value purchase items. I don’t see the Open Box inspection option, and since it’s not a returnable item, you’ll have to record unboxing the item. Keep in mind, while unboxing, to clearly show the package label, every angle of the outer packaging, the product, serial, and other labels all in one uncut video.
Given the amount of recirculating returned and old/damaged/defective goods in the inventory, especially from this seller, I’d stay away for the peace of mind and save my time.
Even if Amazon lists the variant to have a motherboard and RAM combo, what you’ll receive is already mentioned in the ITEM DETAILS section. That is what they scan before sending you the package and refer to when asked about product details. Don’t even think of complaining to CC about not getting Motherboard or RAM. Amazon’s fraud detection AI is aggressive; even genuine customers get flagged for ‘unusual activity’ if they return high-value items. Resellers dodge this with multiple accounts, but regular users don’t have that luxury. Amazon has already been criticized for its use of Dark Patterns. Returns and cancellations negatively affect your account standing, and genuine users often get caught in these ‘Dark Pattern’ metrics.
Regular users may know all these points, but given the public nature of the forum, I’ll say it again: If you can’t buy this locally, do your due diligence and have that unboxing video ready. Otherwise, save your time and sanity.

Reach out to customer support before placing your order. Be specific in your questions, such as “What happens if an item is missing? Will you issue a refund?” or “If the product doesn’t work, will you refund it?” etc, etc. Make sure to get their responses in writing in your favor.
Then save the chat transcript to your email, If not possible, then ask for a transcript of the chat to be emailed to you in the chat itself before ending the session.
This way, you will have a record to refer back to in case things don’t go as expected.

Price updated to 1.2L now. Either order will get cancelled or some people will be lucky to get this at 50%.
