has anyone RMA recently in 1 month. one of my 8gb stick has died. heard they are giving refund at the purchase order of the RAM. wanted to know if it is possible to get RMA and the procedure.
Is it an xpg model?
I understand your qualms about RMA’ing stuff, but in my experience with Kaizen in the last week or so, I was able to get a replacement stick of Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4 3600MHz after submitting it for a warranty claim with the serial number.
Only hassle was packaging the whole thing in a box for Jockey briefs when I sent it to the Kaizen office in Kochi.
yes, specifically this one adata xpg gammix d30 ddr4 3200mhz 8gb
how did you initiate the RMA? the kaisen service center here told me that it is not handled by them.
Try to follow the steps Here
As per what the Kaizen staff at Kochi told me, I had to initiate a warranty claim off of the official Corsair support team on corsair.com. The chatbot insisted on a bill for ‘faster resolution’ but it was satisfied with the serial number that I provided anyhow.
After that, an e-mail process starts with a similar approach, asking for a bill and the serial number, but it was approved anyhow. I sent a copy of the approval email and the RAM stick to Kaizen in Kochi and then it’s out of our hands from then on.
After some calls for confirmation, it came in the mail yesterday morning, the replacement stick.
I imagine it’s a different approach altogether, but rather straightforward if you have the invoice for the product with you.
I thought gigabyte handled it. Is there anyway to get warranty if invoice is not available. Xpg does state in their terms that if purchase date can’t be verified with documents then serial number will be used for warranty but i don’t think acro will honour it
i have the invoice so there no problem with that
How did u prompt for serial number i am unable to i have corsair dominator
Acro Kolkata specifically told me they would need the invoice. I recommend you call up the rep of your nearest acro center.
Ask the chatbot on Corsair’s Support Page. Eventually it’ll prompt for the serial number and/or the bill. After that, you’ll have to give the serial number on the back of that RAM stick.
Thanks for sharing. Will be RMAing my LPX 16GB stick as well soon.
It asked me bill and if i prompt serial number it just resets. Do I have to login?
The chatbot will insist on a bill. Just give the serial number and leave the bill space blank.
Thank for help. I have went through the RMA process and RMA got approved and receiving the replacement soon.
Who handled the RMA?
Was invoice requested?
Got my crucial ram rma’d, got a replacement within 4 days
Arco. they created pick-up and delivery just filled all the details in acroclaim then they reviews it then initiated pick-up. After reaching Delhi they test it and then approved RMA with replacement.
From what I am hearing is if you RMA through a shop, you 99% get refund.
Probably the shops keeping the rma sticks and refunding you the invoice amount without letting you know about the replacement.
Have cross checked with a few vendors and they have confirmed that they themselves have been doing this since dec/jan.
