From what I see in reviews, this is a good one. But there have been many deals in routers since they are like 2020 launch and the Flipkart clearing old stock
I was looking for a wifi router since last sale but cancelled the one i ordered in the last sale , it was some 3 pack router and i thought i don’t really need a lage mesh and might be better off with a single router that is better overall
Is this the one? Good deal to pass up on or I’m better off saving and going with something cheaper?
To add some info for my purchase, I’m also slowly trying to build a nas and will connect 2/3 pc’s
This is a tri band router 1x 2.4ghz and 2x 5ghz, with asus AiMesh , you can use the routers usb port, attach one usb hdd to it and it becomes your nas.
Remember, when you use it in AiMesh mode, the 2nd 5ghz will become dedicated for mesh. Means you will have 1x2.4ghz and 1x5ghz. Yes, that’s enough for daily usage.
Then you have 3rd party firmware for this router. It’s a fork of Merlin FW. Basically these are tweaked asus firmware.
