Best 32 inch FULL HD TV

1080p you will see a difference with 40 inches, not so much with 32 inches.

I have a tv cabinet suited for 27/29 inch crt. I upgraded the crt to a 32 inch lcd. Nothing else would have fit. I bought a premium 720p over 1080p at the time. Shopkeeper was actually shocked. Couldn’t be happier. All new tvs are bezel less, a 40 inch (100cm) will just about fit in now. Will be my next upgrade, hopefully before that size disappears.

I also recommend 40+ screen. IMHO no point investing in a premium 32 inch today.

Minimum 43 inch is must in 2025 for tv.

which brand tv u bought for 32 inch that time in 720p ?

cant even think about 40inch as space is too limited for that particular room and tv position from bed area

Panasonic. I actually bought 2 in 2010. Premium and entry level. Both have been serviced once, right after lockdown, still going strong. Reason I bought these was that panasonic was giving free 3 year warranty at the time.

I use the premium tv with all my retro consoles. Lots of inputs (3 hdmi, 2 component, 1 vga, 1 svideo)

I also have some VU 4k tvs. Just had to tweak picture settings to my liking. Leaving that aside they are similar within reason. You will get a better experience with the big brands out of the box.

Have no knowledge on new tvs, except that the bezels are almost gone.

Over the years all brands (sony, samsung, lg, pansaonic) have failed on me. So have no preference.

I have not used a Google TV but the ones that I have while visiting other people seem to get laggy. I don’t know if that 1 GB RAM will help.

It seems good for the price. QLED is nothing but a marketing gimmick.

If you are not particularly picky about picture settings and use the TV in one of those default settings then just get something that you like.

Buy a 43” 4K for 20k from Vu, Hisense or Xiaomi/Redmi. 32” HD TVs are a waste of money.

i understand…but real issue in my case is space..anyhow i cant fix 43inch there..so have to stick with 32 only..

can u explain WHY is 32inch full hd tv is waste ? in what terms ?

32” 1080p TVs are rare, don’t remember seeing any from relatively major brands.

32” 768p (HD) is a waste of money. Bought one for grandparents house, LG one for 15k, sure does the job for them, but it is much inferior (panel quality & smoothness of OS) vs 43” 4K Hisense that my flatmate bought on sale for 19k (mind you, this does lag at times as it has Android TV). So yeah, not recommending 32” HD TVs to anyone.

Also, bigger TV screen size is always better. My recommendation for most people is 43” 4K for 20k or 55” 4K under 32k, at max spend 40k for Samsung/LG 55”. Most people need not spend more on a TV IMO.

… tcl fyll hd

I’ve saved you the trouble of checking out Samsung. I looked into it, and this is their newly launched top of the line 32-inch HD model:

If you check the specs, they’re quite vague and don’t really tell you much. It doesn’t even mention whether it supports 60Hz refresh rate.

Now compare that with LG’s top 32-inch models, they clearly list all the important specs:

These LG models are priced around 20k. So why are these HD models more expensive than the TCL 32-inch Full HD TV, which is selling for about 14k?

It really makes you wonder what’s going on.

I haven’t looked closely at the TCL yet, but I’m fairly certain it’s priced that way mainly because of the Full HD panel. There are likely compromises in other areas, areas where LG doesn’t cut corners.

Buying non-smart TV or low end smart TV and using that with fire stick is less desireable than a proper smart TV which doesn’t lag.

Juggling two remotes is not fun, even when you can turn on/off your tv with firestick remote, it can’t go into your tv settings, which breaks the user experience.

It doesn’t need to be mentioned, 60Hz refresh rate is the standard default for LCD/LED display tech since the beginning just like how 75Hz was for CRT monitors.

i think it doesn’t…some samsung model supports 50hz and it is one of them i guess

There are TVs which only go upto 50Hz. I think we will find few in the samsung in 2025 if we look hard enough in budget segment.

I saw somewhere, people in review comments mentioning 50hz only.

yes same i saw

Interesting, post a link of such models on samsung website where its official specs say 50HZ whenever you find it in future. I have never seen a lcd tv/monitor with 50Hz refresh rate mentioned in official specs. As for ppl comments, unless they are reading it somewhere on their tv product box/UI settings or connected the TV as monitor to a pc & checked the windows display settings it is not possible to know refresh rate simply by seeing the motion on screen.

The Panasonic Viera TVs show this - resolution + refresh rate whenever it detects a change in either.

Other member mentioned about the new F/HD panels being bad. I find the picture quality on my older Panasonic and Sony to be superior to many current TVs even after adjusting. The panels are just bad.

People are now used to perceive unrealistic images and videos as normal thanks to the filters and social media. I adjusted my TV display after reading through some forum posts and YouTube reference videos and the difference is stark.

Samsung The Frame

check specs for 43 and 50 inch variants

Specs say native refresh rate 50 & motion rate as 100 which basically means this model is displaying anything which it considers as fast motion at 100Hz by accelerating its base refresh rate by 2. It seems Samsung is using PAL standard of 50Hz (TV standards are Pal (50Hz) & NTSC (60Hz) & India/Europe uses PAL) for their specifications as these are supposed to be used for viewing DTH TV channels but I am guessing if such model is connected to a PC then it might be possible to set their default refresh rate to 60Hz.
