Need your inputs to finalize it.
Any suggestions and recommendations if I missed anything in this budget?

i also have similar requirements regarding budget P&S. i have seen many users giving Fuji VFM status. Can anyone share after sales service standard of Fuji in India.
I have been using canon all the while but can try out other brands if it proves VFM.
can someone please suggest any budget P&S upto 10K.

FUJIAX100 produces better shots at night than any other cameras. my pick wud be fuji

The Canon a3000IS is a very good proposition, save for the fact that it has only 36mm wide angle and the video recording is not too good. Check for reviews of these cams on dpreview, it will give you a very good idea about the pros and cons of each.
