I think just a single page, I have a decent one at Google though.
Wouldn’t a no coding solution like Square Space or an Indian equivalent work for you?
Your other options would be a static page via Github, or full fledged website via a host. If the number of visitors are low you could even use free tier of popular clouds.

Depends on what you want to do regarding hosting then. Most free options like wordpress/ weebly etc the free tier will be attached with their domain. Eg xyz.wordpress(dot)com. Is that alright with you? You can go ahead with something like that then. If you want to purchase a domain it’s going to cost you a monthly/yearly fee to keep hosting.
Since you’ve specifically mentioned it’s going to only be a single page, I’d suggest just using weebly’s free tier for now, get a feel if it meets your requirements. Assuming you don’t want to integrate stuff like payment processing etc.

There are several options you can opt for depending on how you are really going to use it.
https://sway.office.com/ → Can help you create a fast landing page to showcase your business, talent pool you have, etc. for an informational purpose. Free of cost.
Github static page → You can create a GitHub static page free of cost. Create a repository and enable the Github Pages for that repo. You can create a landing page with all info.
If you really want a professional one, then you can buy a domain name, buy hosting at something like Godaddy with WordPress hosting option, and set up WordPress at a single click. Select any of the single-page themes and just edit that page as a GUI tool, just like you edit a Word document. No coding experience is required.

I just wish to have a profile cum site sorry of page, where people can come and opt for online consultations and make a payment before hand.
Atm a friend is looking into it, whatever he decides or comes up with u ll share here.
