I’ve had threads run away from me, you could always disable notifications for this thread (it’s kind of like unsubscribing) if you no longer feel like participating in the conversation.
Asking others not to participate is a bit non-traditional, I’ve only seen that in marketplace threads.
Not against the closing or keeping the thread open but what was the point in the first of having this thread? An American Racist gets killed and we need to discuss it on our Indian Tech forum, for what?
I mean, intellectual curiosity and intellectual stimulation in general is, as of this moment, a completely separate thing from what the conversation at hand has turned into. If anyone here likes audience grabbing popcorn moments, due to variables like drama, gossip, and other braindead things like that. There exist dumb shows for Low IQ content enjoyers like that, like Koffee With Karan and Keeping Up With The Kardashians and all, i don’t know why such a large group of people are investing so much time and energy into making such a tryhard effort to turn this thread into the same low IQ thing. I created the thread for intellectual discussion, if it had not turned into a low effort haha my meme is so funny kind of thread, I would not be asking the mods to close the thread. So please stop.

I’m not weeping for anyone. I’m just pro freedom of speech. No one should be shot for speaking an opinion you don’t agree with. He is not a terrorist bomber or a guy funding genocide, he is just a public speaker, whose opinions i don’t even agree with. But pro free speech is the core idea. In our country, the government silences and jails comedians who attempt to speak the truth, and then the Andh Bhakts fans of those political leaders beat up those comedians. That is anti freedom of speech and against the core idea of democracy, which is what I am against.
Though the guy is just a pro speaker for a party and his opinions are merging with fascism. Look what fascism did to Jews in WWII.
