Chat-GPT not responding

Chat-GPT website is loading just fine, was even responding normally till yesterday but today when I open it, it gives message that it has failed to load subscription information and when I enter any query I get the response ”Something went wrong while generating the response. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com.”

Edit: This issue is limited to web/desktop version of Chat-GPT. On my mobile phone, it is working fine.

Try clearing out cookies through site settings under privacy and security.

Tried doing that but it didn’t help. Facing the issue on both Mozilla and Edge BUT not on the iOS and Android app.
@MaxXHS I do use Gemini for technical tasks as it’s propensity to give “buII$h!t” responses is low wrt Chat-GPT but for some tasks Chat-GPT is better.

Do you have any subcription or using the free version?

Chatgpt says to turn off all the extension and try once and even try logging out and logging in back and also try in incognito mode once.

Tried last night using the Incognito mode on my phone and it wasn’t working even then. Switched to Mobile Data and it started working so I suspected PiHole to be the culprit but now today in the morning, tried again from the desktop and it is working fine again, without going through any troubleshooting hoops.

Did you asked it any ahem questions where it was reluctant to answer?

Nope, I use AI bots mainly to troubleshoot and brainstorm my ideas and tasks regarding my Homelab, services on it and Cybersecurity training and testing.
