Classic TKL, Monsgeek M6, Keycaps and Switches

Hi,

I’m parting with two of my keyboards along with three sets of keycaps.

  1. Monsgeek M6- It’s a relatively uncommon 65% Alice/Arisu layout keyboard. Most pure alice style keyboards don’t have the arrow key cluster and a straight bottom lip and since this one does, it helps in the usability aspect quite a bit. I’d bought it as a barebone kit and used the polished ABS 1989 retro keycaps with HMX Macchiato linear switches around the beginning of 2025 (or very late in 2024). A great custom keyboard for someone looking to step up from the Keychrons and Royal Kludges.
  • Solid, hefty, tank-like aluminum build.

  • Gasket mount, PC Plate, Hot-swappable 5-pin PCB, Customizable south facing RGB.

  • Works on Mac, Windows & Linux, QMK/VIA support for configuring keys, macros and layers to the keyboard.

  • Hand lubed Akko stabilizers (which are honestly pretty good), tempest/tape mod applied, force break mod applied (used the included teflon pads to mitigate any unwanted resonance from the aluminum case)

  • Currently installed with HMX Macchiato linear switches. These are one of the most consistent and smooth switches I’ve come across- I did not feel the need to do any mods with these switches. Just works great out of the box and I feel that HMX’s rise in the past year is justified.

  • Used 1989 Retro keycaps with this build. The polished ABS switches along with the novelties kind of give this board a retro futuristic 50-s space age theme, if that makes any sense. I feel that this keycap and switch combination just works well with this board. Not too clacky or thuddy- it sounds creamy and smooth- just like how it feels.

  • What’s included- all of the original packaging for the keyboard and the keycap set.

  • Cost of the build- 11K for the M6, 7K for the keycaps and 2K for the switches, totaling to 20K.

  • Expected price- 15K

  1. Classic TKL- Another uncommon TKL keyboard that’s not sold in India. This one is pure VFM. Designed by nephlock who had also designed various keycaps like GMK Metropolis, Kaiju, etc and sold by Novelkeys. Not many frills on this one, but it just works well, has character and has a lot of thoughtful features. Had bought sometime towards the end of last year or beginning of 2025.
  • Well made ABS case. Tempest blue color. Light, yet very sturdy. Can be a good, functional everyday keyboard.

  • Gasket Mount, PC Plate, high quality Yiancar (UK) hot-swappable PCB.

  • Customizable lightbar above the arrow key cluster

  • Silicone mat at the bottom of the case to act as a design element, prevent resonance and for better grip.

  • There is also an additional silicon mat inside the case to make sure that the case doesn’t sound hollow.

  • Threaded stainless inserts where the screws go in so that there would be no risk of splintering or breaking to the housing.

  • Hand lubed Typeplus x YiKB stabilizers. Hands down one of the best stabilizers I’ve used. These have a newly patented design with a secured wire mechanism that ensures fool proof installation.

  • Currently installed with Akko Rosewood linear switches. These are deep, low pitched thocky switches. Very smooth, low effort and very consistent. Akko makes good stuff. Two boxes of 90 switches included.

  • What’s included- original packaging- contains a Geon plate fork (very useful for supporting the plate when doing a foamless build), allen key for the screws, one of the nicest stock cables, spare gaskets and of course, the keyboard.

  • For anyone buying the keyboard with the Akko Rosewoods or Kailh Box Jades, I will include the Akko 9009 set of PBT keycaps for free. They are good keycaps, but have a slight shine on the alphas (but doesn’t affect functionality in any way).

  • Expected price- 8K

  1. QK keycaps- PBT keycaps with red accents and a lovely font. They have been mounted for the first time on the Classic TKL as shown in the pictures.
  • Expected price- 2.5 K

Selling to shuffle the lineup. Shipping from Bangalore, can include shipping in cost if multiple items are purchased. Happy April 1, thanks for looking.
