For Sale – Antec 1300W Signature Series and Asus Rog Strix 750w PSU

Guys its settled. Mistake was done on may part and I acknowledge that. And if you’d guys want to ban me or anything I’m okay I didn’t do any crime here.

I don’t think so. Only ordinary users on TE need to have item in hand. A reseller need not have it. They are also permitted to sell seal pack items.

All comms for buying and selling should happen via PM mode only. Avoid whatsapp.

No harm, no fowl.

But the question remains - why is your friend refusing to post from his own TE account, and throwing you under the bus, and you refusing to reveal his ID? I highly recommend you reveal his ID, so that future deals may be a bit better scrutinized.

“I don’t want to involve him in this mess” isn’t really warranted. He is a bigger part of this than you are, TBH.

Does not give a green light to lying about not having cables to a PSU, and then scrambling to arrange for one AFTER payment. What if incompatible cables were accidentally issued? That’s a fire hazard.

Resellers also dropship on demand when they KNOW they have a place to source it from. In this case, a request was put out on a WhatsApp group, not knowing where or from whom the cables would come.

Hey budd, couldn’t find his TE handle. He already have WA group and wouldn’t much interested in TE that’s why..

You could just ask him, you know?

Interested or not, he still has a TE account, and the listing was posted on TE. He even wrote your name as a timestamp when the products were at his house, not yours. Why are you risking your own reputation?

So it’s a simple 2+2 scenario.

Before you (may) say:

“He doesn’t remember his email/password etc., that’s why he couldn’t post.” - He will NOT forget his TE handle name.

@TheCondor is not a reseller.

He’s selling / listing a product in possession of a reseller who runs a WhatsApp group and who also conveniently forgot he has a TE account.

The buyer was provided incomplete information beforehand about this and initially arbitrarily denied a refund because the resellers guidelines don’t permit a refund.

The date stamp and username was basically forged by the reseller for @TheCondor to post here.

Please go through the entire set of screenshots the buyer has posted along with the facts.

The buyer was made to wait for a refund because the seller/ reseller duo ran out of funds. Surely that’s a believable story.

Someone with an account with a decent number of posts and transactions reselling a resellers product would still be able to do that on Xenforo.

The same requirements could’ve been implemented here but the marketplace reputation is an opportunity that offers the opportunity to monetize to an extent.

The efforts being put in to make the marketplace are evident.

Whether that ruins the reputation of TE due to cases like this is up for judgement.

Maybe @TheCondor and that other member who was trying to sell this PSU is one and the same with different ids.

@TheCondor has listed the item under his ID. so he is the reseller. He has violated the forum rules by posting item not in his possession - Yes.

a quick search on FB will show you the reseller name

This has been the rule since I the time I joined TE. However, mods weren’t too strict as long as the seller declared everything honestly and acted in good faith.

However the important bit is this:

If you are posting something on TE, it is up to you to uphold the terms of the transaction that both parties agreed to. What happens between you and your friend or what policy he has is irrelevant. Even if your friend does not return the money to you that does not mean you can get away with not refunding the buyer.

And what’s this “trust me bro, 1 month warranty” nonsense. If there is an issue with the PSU or cables, his other parts are at risk. Do you expect the buyer to believe that someone who is acting shady before the deal has even concluded will assume responsibility and pay for replacing the affected parts? You must think people are idiots.

Some razia begum comes up on searching. Sounds like a fake name

Market rules apply for resellers ? They have a different set of rules. for example they can sell sealed goods.

Bro, @TheCondor is NOT registered as a reseller on TE.

And this was posted in user-to-user listings, as well.

I know for a fact that the actual reseller who’s identity is being fiercely protected is reading all of this.

To you I say - Good job in ruining your friend’s reputation here on TE.

Maybe actually go through the posts and screenshots shared by the buyer before further adding to your confusion.

Present in the screenshot. Both number and name.

I missed this then. What’s the reseller’s name / TE handle ?
