Yesterday, all the tech channels published the first impressions before the Google keynote.

It is one thing that Google cannot contain leaks and another that they cannot even synchronise their keynote with the embargo timings.

But that has been my experience with Pixel devices in general, good ideas, but messed up execution and bugs.

Could you explain how?? Both my parents use Pixel 6, whose batteries have swollen. This would be a good fit.

This is the first time pixel launched with a fair price. It used to be $1=₹100 but the current rate seems to be $1=₹88. And with card discounts it should be cheaper.

But it’s still too expensive imo. Pixels, iphones and samsung s series are a lot cheaper if bought 7-8 months after launch

Look at the cool 100X Zoom and auto correct the image by AI. Shit man. Google AI has gone to next level.

I think launch offers have always been there. This time it actually launched at an MSRP even higher than 1 INR = 100 USD. Pixel 10 Pro is 999USD but 1.1L INR!!

Samsung hasn’t been the best in zoom for over an year now. Vivo has outperformed samsung in zoom with both the Pro and Ultra models

Only the base model is priced fairly. The 256GB at $899 is at 79,999

Oh, I didn’t notice Indian price is for 256gb. So the 10 pro is also 1USD = 100INR unlike what I said earlier.

Base model has a sensor of 1/2 inch. I don’t get it.

PS: Saw on Desidime that there’s some good offers for those who have something called Play Points on Play Store. So check yours in case you intend to purchase.

Yes, If anyone has Play Gold or Platinum, Would appreciate if you can share the code as intend to purchase Pixel 10

Are camera degraded on P10?

worse, the battery has been degraded, intentionally after 200 charge cycles

i don’t understand why will anybody buy this phone after this information, what a big L

I tried playing with it for a few minutes and you do notice the differnce, i was comparing it to my pixel 7 and in the viewfinder you could see significantly less natural bokeh and light. After clicking the picture when the post processing kicks in the photo is obv better in the 10. The main camera is the same one they used in the 9a

Physics can’t be altered. Small sensor means it will obviously have noise in low light. And you will have to hold the phone for longer for a clean shot.

Google’s HDR is the best out of them all, but you can’t manipulate/compensate hardware with software. Honestly, it’s absolutely ridiculous that they would use a 1/2 sensor on the basic model!

You have already got P10? How?

Nooo, played with it in store

Early Pixel 10 buyers are running into wireless charging issues and more already

It’s been more than a week since Google launched the Pixel 10 series at its hardware event in NYC. Google is again sailing on the AI boat, shipped alongside an improved design, better camera specifications, and a brighter display.

However, user reports on platforms like Reddit suggest several early buyers are not happy with the Pixel 10’s wireless charging experience. It appears that some unknown issue is messing with the wireless charging feature on the latest Pixels.

According to reports, people are dealing with various charging-related issues when using their existing chargers. For instance, their Pixel 10, 10 Pro, or Pro XL would stop charging after a few seconds or minutes of being connected to a wireless charger.

Some users are experiencing speed-related issues, where the wireless charging drops to around 5W on some older Qi chargers, including the Pixel Stand 2nd Gen.

The issue was first reported by 9to5Google, suggesting that the problem may be related to Google’s adoption of the new Qi2 wireless charging standard and transitioning to Magnetic Power Profile (MPP) from the older Extended Power Profile (EPP).

Both MPP and EPP support wireless charging up to 15W; however, MPP uses magnets to align the devices properly. It’s worth noting that the official Pixel 10 listing on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) website doesn’t put any restrictions on the charging limits for chargers that aren’t Qi2 compatible.

It’s also suggested that the older Pixel Stand may not be able to power the device efficiently, as Google’s previously used semi-proprietary charging method has been updated to be part of the newer Qi2 standard, possibly resulting in the older charger being unsupported.

It remains to be seen how Google addresses the wireless charging issue on Pixel 10 devices. In the meantime, it’s recommended that Pixel 10 owners use a Qi2-certified wireless charger for the best possible results.

Google launched its new Qi2-certified Pixelsnap Charger alongside the devices this year, which sticks to the back of the smartphone, much like Apple’s MagSafe. It supports wireless charging of up to 25W for the Pixel 10 Pro XL and up to 15W for the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Pro Fold.

With every pixel release there’s always something or the other going wrong. Seriously. Paying flagship money for this is absurd imo
