Hi,
I just got a new Samsung 80Gb hdd. SP0802N.
The problem is, after connecting, it gets detected in the BIOS and was also detected by windows. Now, i do see the hdd in the hardware devices, but it doesnt appear in My Computer.
Any idea what the problem is?
Could it be that i need to format the hdd or something??
OS: Win 2k (SP3)
Processor : P4
Mobo: Equivalent to 845
You will need to format it first. Go to Contol Panel => Administartive services, and search out there.
I dont remember clearly.

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Disk Manager
