Hi Everyone, I’m Richard From Meerut [Uttar Pradesh] n This is My First Post in This Amazing Forum.
I’m Going To Buy New Assemble PC of Rs. 40,000 Budget This Month [My Proffesional Frnd Will Assemble it for me].Below Are my system Specifications Which I’ll Buy.
I need Your Help in choosing BETTER/EQUAL. Plz Provide Your Help Soon as Possible.
All Prices Are In INR.
For GPU @ Rs 10,000 try GTS 250 1GB or HD 4850 Special Sonic Edition from Palit (GDDR5) both are decent mid range video cards(or better still if you can afford an extra 2000 bucks you can get used Palit GTX 260 core 216 from one of our TE member)
For PSU i don’t know your budget, my personal choice would be of corsair 450VX(around 4000 bucks)
For Cabinet again i don’t know your budget, but i would go for Cooler master 690 for better spece and ventilation(if you can afford around 4500 bucks)
wait dude…u just startes this thread couple of hours ago…
anyway
why dont u by a Phenom II X3 720BE. It costs around 7.7k. Stock speed is 2.8Ghz…get a biostar TA790GX A2+ mobo for around 4.5k…
unlock the 4th core…oc it to 3 or 3.2Ghz…
regarding the gfx card…if u can go for the above setup u save some money there…u can get a Palit GTX 260 core 216. I dont exactly know the price. If its too expensive for u go for Palit GTS 250.. its basicaly a renamed 9800GTX+. It can run all the new games at decent resolutions and at high settings.
PSU Crosair 450VX would be fine. it costs 4k
Pc case i would suggest zebronics bijli…i think its around 1.3k…not sure though
Thanks mebaali
is GTS 250 1 GB better Than MSI ATI Radeon HD4870 1 GB?
and GTS 250 of which manufacturer {EVGA,MSI,XFX,ZOTAC}?
I’ll look forward to it.
anyway I’m INTEL FANBOY, SINCE ALL MY PC AND LAPTOP RUN ON INTEL..
HD 4870 1 GB is any day better than GTS 250 1GB but the price you have mentioned may not be the correct one for MSI HD 4870 1 GB card( i guess it should be aroun Rs 14500).
GTS 250’s price is same from both Palit and Zotec(not sure about EVGA), better go for Palit b’cos it has 3 years local warranty.
1- To be honest ditch the quad, unless you are into 3-D works etc. 40K won’t really cut for a quad. Better still get X3 720 BE+Biostar 790GX mobo. The combo will cost around 12K and at stock will give better performance than Q6600 in most applications.
Even if you have decided to go for Q6600, make sure that you get a better motherboard than Intel crap.
2- Of all the cards that you have listed, HD 4870 1 GB is most powerful but as someone said here, you may not get it for 10K. If you game moderately (read 10 to 15 hours a week), 9800GTX+ or 4850 will suit you fine.
3- Don’t skimp on SMPS and at least get CM 460 Extreme Power Plus (not if you are going for HD 4870) or Corsair CX 400W or better still VX 450W (4870 will love this PSU).
4- 250 GB HD is too less nowadays. Get at least 500GB.
5- Go for 22" inch monitor. Believe me, when it comes to monitors size does matter.
6- As cabinet, consider CM Elite, Antec 300 and CM 690
I think, this may shoot up your budget considerably and you may have to reconfigure the system specs. But, and I have said it may times here, it is important to have a balanced rig than go for one or two uber parts.
@OP,I guess Morgoth has answered your queries beautifully. If your budget is 10k for GPU then you should go for either Palit GTS 250 1 GB or Palit HD 4850 (Special Sonic).
When you go for cards like 4870 1 GB or GTX 260 you might have to shell out some extra budget for getting better PSUs(like Corsair 550VX/Antec EA650 etc)due to the power needs of these cards
Also, try to get a decent cabinet with lots of air flow to avoid any heat problems inside the cpu plus enough space for accomodating various wires and other components.(Most of the decent ones comes at around 3k to 5ks
Q6600 runs at 2.4 Ghz. Thats quite slow. You might have 4 cores, but not many applications use even 2 cores. Its really not worth 9k. Think again. Phenom II X3 730BE is worth every penny you pay. I am sure it will outperform Q6600.
Yesterday I bought the proccy and the biostar TA790GX mobo along with Palit GTS250 gfx card. The performance is very good. Its the best mid range gaming rig that u can buy.
Crosair VX450 PSU is the one u should go for.
Since u are buying a gfx card…u can even choose a 780 based mobo…it will work out even cheaper for u
For ur budget i would suggest
C2D7400@6K
GA-EG31M-S2@2.5K
2*2GB Transcend or kingston @2.1K
DVD R/W @1.1K
Seagate Barracuda 500GB @3K
Cooler Master Elite330 @2K
Corsair 450W@4.2K
HD 4850 Special Sonic 512MB GDDR5 @ 10K(If u go for 4870 then you should go for corsair 550W so it wil cost u 5K extra for this combo)
Samsung 2233 @10K(great monitor… 20" monitor has wierd resolutions)
So 41K and you have a intel based powerful rig
