Truecaller offering VIP membership. Is it safe to use Truecaller as phone app for dialing and messaging?
I’ve stopped using that app a few years ago and the spam has reduced. I use the inbuilt Google Phone spam filter.

Yes google sms, is been good enough for me.. for unknown phonecall that i really want to know who called.. i just type the number on truecaller website to find out..
For phonecall my phone stock hyperos is good it support call recording.
But for some people who accept a lot of calls, it is good. My friend uses the premium its going good for him. I also heard that they mitigated their security issue..
Nope. Sketchy as heck app, IDK why people just give all their info away so easily. But I can see why in some line of business, you have to lay in bed with these kinda things.
For me, ignorance is bliss. Especially since iOS 26, we got some of those Pixel features for call screening and reporting spam.

Dont use trucaller anymore. TRAI DND worked like a charm. Spam calls went from 7-8 per day to 1-2 per week
I’ve switched to Airtel since my mobile doesn’t support Jio due to custom ROM. And I haven’t received any spam calls so far. Is Airtel’s spam free network for real?
why you want to use a virus and allow it to control your device? even you are ready to pay for it.
I have this subscription which I share with my family. Im on airtel but I can still see True caller filtering out 3-4 spam calls a day. I also like the feature which notifies when somebody using True caller is already in another call. Overall I would recommend it.
You are just lucky for now. Also, sometime airtel network tag even some genuine service calls (from banks for example) as spam.

Truecaller is used by a lot of people. So the other party call status comes handy at times.
Have used it earlier and knowing who is the caller from unknow numbers was very handy. Also any call which i dont want to respond will push it to AI assistant to answer and handle. So there were few things which were really handy.
Airtel marks the call as SPAM but we are unable to view the user details or name. True caller mostly will display who is calling in such scenarios.
