It took a while to figure out but there’s at least three different places to change settings in MIUI:

  1. Power Usage:

There is a fourth place if you want to use sledgehammer method.

It is in developer Options. You can completely disable MiUI optimizations from there. But it breaks lots of MI’s stuff though. Only do it if absolutely necessary

I use the cmf phone 2 pro and after 3months of use, I can say I don’t need any high end phones.
Good overall phone
