Since One Year I am using Jio Fibre, I am not happy with speed. Thinking to switch to Airtel 499 Plan.
Jio Gives 1000gb / Month
What is total Data per month with Airtel 499 Plan ?
All of Airtel’s unlimited plans have an FUP of 3.3 TB, including the 499 plan.
I think jio fiber also gives fup 3300 gb per month
AFAIK it’s 3300GB for both Jio and Airtel Fiber plans.
Are you using Jio AirFiber? The speeds and latency on it is pretty bad. The FUP is 1000GB.
Any actual fiber connection will be a massive improvement over “AirFiber”.
AirFiber is just a glorified 5G hotspot.
Yet they charge same amount as Jio Fiber
Best thing to do is stick to optic internet till india gets satellite internet or any other better tech
Unable to conclude, Shall I Switch ?
Yeah bro just switch to fiber optic connection
It is best as of now
I have airtel fibre 3.3tb fup but with their combined (200mb + 4 postpaid connections) black plan for years. I’ve had very little downtime/niggles. Problems have been solved professionally and quickly. Overall, very happy with it. Location is Delhi - 54
Had excitel before this, which was cheaper but a nightmare in comparison.
Don’t know where you are, but depending on area, you can also look into bsnl ftth. It is very good in my experience.
check available isp on your location
@@StygianClaw Hey I have some questions regarding your third party ont with Jio fiber,
I have been using Airtel Black with DTH too. Been quite satisfied with their services. On my 200mbps plan I’d easily get ~400mbps on Google servers.
The only “issue” I had was my speeds over LAN would reduce to 100mbps every few days until I rebooted my router. I tried everything from crimping new cables to changing my switch, it only temporarily fixed the issue. After complaining to Airtel to change my router, the engineer came over and said the RJ45 connector was faulty, I rejected his assertion since I had already tried to change it a few times. BUT, as it happens to be, I was using old RJ45 connectors and there was some oxidation on the contact points. Thankfully I had a new one and he changed it for me (crimping Cat6 is very tricky, you need to get ALL contact points properly crimped) and voila! It has been working fine since then.
So yeah, big ups to Airtel. Plus with Airtel Black you get priority customer service.
As for Jio, never heard anything good about them.
where? no fup is being reduced can you share the source please @@Ramadhir Singh

Internet providers in the UK are offering better deals on 1 Gbps internet plans, even when the cost is converted to Indian Rupees. When will Indian ISP’s like Jio and Airtel starts offering cheaper 1 Gbps plans any hopes?
Mate thank you so much for sharing this. Sometimes a part of me wonders if there was a repository of all such useful government websites that I could explore before I go about asking anything here or anywhere else. Umang comes close in that respect but still has a long way to go.
I, in contrast have had a frustrating experience with Airtel as of late. The network itself disconnects on a daily basis around 1 am every night, and every now and then, goes away for a few seconds. It’s quite embarrassing to go through that if you’re in a services industry virtually presenting to a client. Just today it was out for a full hour. While, to their credit, they’ve been quite quick on their TAT to resolve issues, a part of me wants to go looking at other vendors to see if anyone else would offer a consistent experience, even if it may come with a subpar customer support.
