250GB HDD max??I think he can go WD 640Gb*2 or may be even 4ā€¦ Heā€™ll always require more space to install latest games..tell him as crysis it self will take about 12GB spaceā€¦let alone other games n 250GB will b filled in a FLASHā€¦

Processor - E8400/E8500 Maybe Quad?
Mother board - Intel Original? get a P45, Asus is great too
PSU - Corsair HX620
GPU - 4870
Monitor - Dell 24"
HDD - WD Raptor or Velociraptor 300 GB :wink:

intel core 2quad Q9450 for 15.5K ( will drop soon)
Asus P5Q Pro 10k intel P45 chipset ( intel mobo are not so good as u pretend)
HD4870 18K
CORSAIR 620HX 6.3K
G.SKILL 8GB RAM 4X 2GB each for 2.4k =9.6 (8GB as u want 4GB is enough)
H.D.D 500GB (any) = 4K
DVD RW =1.2K
cabby = CM 690=4K or as per ur choice
MONITOR = DELL 22" 16K
spk CREATIVE T6060 4.5K
KEY+MOUSE as per ur choice

this is for about 90K

+1 to above config and by the way 4gb is pretty enough but more ram does nt harm.

For a 1L budget, those requirements were very very basic, so I thought maybe it was a mail from 2 yrs back or something when everything in his budget was extremely new and costly :rofl:

This config looks nice except change that single 4870 to a 4850 CF and that would be more powerful with some 2-3k more. Btw how much more is the Corsair TX750? I would prefer that for this config. And 8Gb ram is a overkill get 4gb and get the tx750 for ur psu.

Buying 8GB wonĆ¢ā‚¬ā„¢t give you a 400% jump in performance. Even 4GB wonĆ¢ā‚¬ā„¢t be totally Ć¢ā‚¬Å“useĆ¢ā‚¬Ā in a 32 BIT Operating system. 4GB is good to go for the time being Ć¢ā‚¬Ėœcoz even you use a 64 bit OS youĆ¢ā‚¬ā„¢ll be fine.

CABINET: Cooler master CM690 with Cooler master fans Approx Rs. 5000

LCD" Dell 24" E2408. Get in touch with a Dell Employee here and you could get good discounts. If not possible then buy Samsung 22" or whatever pleases you. DELL > Samsung > LG.

(22" is good enough for playing games and good enough for watching movies too. Web Browsing is awesome. ) Spending whopping money for an extra 2Ć¢ā‚¬Ā Is not worthy IMO.

KB: Logitech Wired Multimedia Keyboard Rs. 450.

MOUSE: Logitech MX518 Approx Rs. 1300.

Mouse Pad: QCK: Rs. 800.

Speakers: Logitech Z5500 are the grand daddy of all speakers Rs. 19000 (Approx) Good for movies, music and games too.

Another good option is Logitech Z2300 2.1 Speakers (THX certified) Rs. 6900. Best 2.1 Speakers IMO.

UPS: APC 800VA Rs. 3400 (Approx)

This almost comes to around Rs. One lakh. (Approx)
