Hi guys, as the title mentions I’m looking upgrade my TV’s soundbar - currently I’m using the Mi soundbar had bought it for 5k and did the job pretty well for me over the past many years.
However now I’m looking at upgrading the experience- my wife and kids also enjoy listening to music on the TV, streaming via phone too so my budget is close to 50k for a good soundbar.
The only condition from the wife is that it shouldn’t clutter the living room space with a separate subwoofer so options are currently limited to only a single soundbar.
Subwoofer is a must to have a decent audio experience IMHO. You could look for the wireless subwoofer models which can be hidden away or used as a side table perhaps? There are wireless rear speakers also available these days which you can take out and plug in on those movie nights if the whole wire clutter thing is a too much for the wife in regular use?
Well I know its a BOSE and tempting, pls shop around and look for a model which has a physical subwoofer or a rear channel which you can use at your discretion. Happy to host you for an audition if you happen to be near the 110075 PIN code to help you evaluate and compare the differences. Actual listening comparisons will help you make the right choice for your listening needs.
Try getting physical soundbar 5.1 with satellites , trust me it’s way better than virtual 5.1 or 7.1in this price range. Also ditn fall or stmos or dts effect , get a dolby digital or dd+ that will suffice unless you know what you are doing
I did demo test in reliance digital and croma, it sounded hollow, Samsung one was rich… Sony felt bass heavy, Samsung was neutral can use for all kind of audios like movies, sports and songs…
Im planning to get an lg C4 or g4 and thinking which surrounds sound system to go for. Room size is about 350 feet and budget is 20k with +/- 2k. I want surround sound not just soundbar and rear speakers need to be wireless
