Is this the new old school Alerts replacement where one can see new threads and updates for subscribed threads- Updates as in real ones in the past few hours or the from the last time we checked which threads.
I miss the old school Alerts method though
Guess the leaderboard is making someone post a lot. Just kidding. 
But also this sequence of posts makes me feel that merging posts was indeed a good thing.
Frankly speaking I’m an old school type rather than these threaded thing. I would any day still prefer XenForo or similar forum software.
Change is good no doubt, composing messages etc. is a bliss without opening up another tab.
But someone I feel this ones too cluttered. There should be arrows to hide stuff at the corners like the leaderboard or stuff at the left and make it feel like a true forum and thread biz!
Disabling the site for an hour for some backup and server maintenance. It will start crawling after 3-4 hours if not done right now.
The update is god awful. Absolutely hating the new UI and the usability.
What’s done is done, can we atleast have some good themes. I’ve changed colours and started light mode. A better full width theme would be really great though.
And my username now has an underscore instead of space. I guess all mentions will be broken now. But I guess you cant do such a major shift without minor annoyances.

Thankfully site is up and running again. Images issue mostly solved for newer assets.
posts from a few years ago still shows no image and something like this appearing in posts instead of images.

@Renegade If there’s an option to put a downtime notice with an ETA please use that. People get confused since the thread also goes down with the site.
Man there is little to no visibility into various sections of the forum. Is there any theme or mode that makes threads page wise and brings back old discoverabilty via forum categories? I think this will be the major issue with most.
Only way to discover right now is the new “Latest, New, Hot” tabs on home page.
Agree that the tags are universally useless and the categories are too broad to check specific content.
Around 5.15pm I posted an sale thread, after site is up, Checked it got deleted now. Anyone faced this kinda issue?
The last posts were mine and timestamped as 16:04, so I suppose anything after that was not recorded as part of the maintenance.
I stopped using it thereafter as my next comment popped the message that thread is read-only, so I suppose you were able to post when in fact the site was not up.
