Also, the Default theme has too much whitespace (or blackspace) compared to the Horizon theme. The Horizon theme on the other hand did not have all the mouseovers, so seems a bit of a toss-up as to which theme to use.
Forgot had Noscript enabled as the old site was not so much Javascript dependent. Works after enabling all scripts.
Edit: Or may be I was just checking General category, expecting sub-categories.

on the left side bar, it shows you the latest activity sorted in decending order.
By default it is set to Latest

I went with horizon initially and it was very unfamiliar. Went back to default and things are bearable now

Thanks, I got the advanced search. Looks like, it is a little tedious on mobile unlike the easier search in Xenforo.
arent you storing hashed passwords anywhere? wouldnt it been easier to just import user hashed pwds from older db to the new one?
See there are two main concerns
Theme and look and feel - will be solved in a few days.
No pagination - granted it’s a little getting used to. But look at it this way. Even in XenForo you had to go to the bottom or top of the page and click on the last page number to go the last page. Here also you just open the page nav with one tap and go to the last page. You don’t even have to scroll to the bottom of the page like earlier. Zero scrolling. Just two quick taps and you are there.
Loving it so far. Thanks for all the hard work; it’s a tremendous achievement to be able to migrate to a completely different platform while navigating so many complexities.

@TechnologyHell is attempting to reset his password but hasn’t received any email. Could someone please confirm whether the ‘password reset’ email functionality is currently working?
@renegade I have been experiencing an issue since this morning. There is no option for messages on the account page, and even when I click on profiles, the message button does not appear as it does for others. I have completed many sales previously, but this issue started only after the migration.
I agree with others sentiments that the old forum was fine and no change needed but once you get used to discourse its great, some of big communities like Home Assistant and Gitlabs are on discourse… let us all give it some time like few weeks before we come to a conclusion.
