Reasonable 3D Printing Services - Pan India Service

:wrench: 3D Printing Services – New Thread

Hi everyone!
With TE’s new migration and the closure of my old thread, I’m opening this fresh one for my 3D printing services.

:backhand_index_pointing_right: Old Thread: Click here
:envelope_with_arrow: For orders or queries, please DM me directly.
:memo: Reviews and feedback from previous prints are available on my profile.

:package: Filament Materials & Colors

I keep Black & White ABS in stock. Any other color (ABS or PLA) can be ordered from Fibreel if you’re okay with the wait.

Fibreel ABS Color List
Fibreel PLA Color List

:gear: Print Settings & Quality

Walls/Layers: 4 walls, 4 top, 4 bottom
Infill: 30% Gyroid
Layer Height: 0.2 mm
Supports: Added as per model requirements

These settings provide a good balance of strength and surface quality. Custom settings can be discussed and implemented as needed.

:thread: Filament Overview

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)
• Strong, durable, heat-resistant
• Heated bed required (90–110°C)
• Ideal for: Tools, enclosures, LEGO-type parts, functional items

PLA (Polylactic Acid)
• Biodegradable, easy to print, low warping
• Heated bed optional
• Ideal for: Decorative items, toys, prototypes
• More brittle and not suitable for high heat
• Post-processing (painting/sanding) not provided

Note: I do not provide post-processing (e.g., acetone smoothing, coloring, painting, sanding etc.). This must be carried out by the buyer as per their needs.

:magnifying_glass_tilted_left: ABS vs PLA: Quick Comparison

Feature ABS PLA
Print Ease Moderate (warping) Easy (low warping)
Strength Strong, impact-resistant Rigid but brittle
Heat Resistance High Low
Environmental Impact Non-biodegradable Biodegradable
Surface Finish Matte (can be smoothed) Glossy

:money_bag: Pricing

Designed to be budget-friendly and accessible to the community:

PLA: ₹2 per gram
ABS: ₹2.5 per gram

The pricing structure is designed to provide easy access to the community at reasonable rates, especially to those who are unable to find 3d printing services elsewhere and do not want to get into the 3d printing hobby.

The pricing includes all raw material costs, electricity, printer wear / tear and a tiny margin on this to cover failed prints and my time / effort costs.

:red_question_mark: Frequently Asked Questions (Thanks to Slippery’s Thread)

• How do I send files?
DM me your 3D files (.STL or .3MF). Mention any preferred print settings, or I’ll use my defaults.

• Do you offer 3D modeling?
No – I only print from finalized files. Please use freelance services or forums for design help.

• How can I estimate material usage?
Browse these for model ideas & rough weights:

Note: (Final weights will be different, based on required print settings.)

• Do you support multicolor prints?
No – only single-color prints are offered.

• What’s the max print size?
340 x 340 x 230 mm. Larger models must be split into parts.

• What’s your shipping policy?
Local pickup: Available in Bangalore (Pin: 560064)
PAN India: Buyer must arrange courier. Packaging cost will be discussed.
Shipping risk lies with the buyer (loss/damage during transit).

• What can be 3D printed?
Almost anything: brackets, custom tools, figurines, cosplay gear, organizers, etc.

• How strong are prints?
Design is the most important factor. All prints will fail eventually, especially under load. My print settings are tuned for durability.

• Why per gram pricing?
Fair, transparent, and based on actual material used.
Example: A 10g keychain would cost ₹20 in ABS.

• Turnaround time?
• Small orders: 3-4 days
• Large orders: 5–7 days depending on workload

Note: Excludes time to obtain filament which is not available with me.

Feel free to post questions and show off your printed parts here. All order related queries should be sent to me via DM to keep the thread clean.

Thanks for your support! :raising_hands:

Thanks for the filament recommendation, I was looking for colour options for ABS.

Good pricing, I have similar plans but at Rs 5/g for B2B and Rs 10/g for B2C.

Do you have any recommendations for PETG? I’ve used Haiteng from Amazon and they’ve been good but limited colour options. PETG is useful when you want some compliance in functional prints that interface with metal.

Youre most welcome. I dont really print any PETG. But given that Fibreel’s material has been good for me, you could possibly give that a try.

I received a few things 3D printed in ABS from @cyberwarfare a couple of days back.

Stand for the HD650 (the wooden ones crushed the cushions, and the headphones don’t sit properly after extending the yokes. This stand is perfect for the HD650 or other 6XX models.

Adapter for Noctua NH-D15, helps in RAM clearance and makes the 140mm fan sit flush without compromising the airflow. Haven’t installed yet.

Stand for MSI Claw A1M, slightly modified to not hit the buttons in the back, and stays clear of the air intake vents.

A couple more fan shrouds and vents to reduce the fan resonance and more directed airflow.

80mm Fan to PCIe Slot adapter to exhaust the air:

Exhaust vent to not impede the exhaust air when the case is pushed to the wall:

Adding feedback, and Thanks again.

@rsaeon didn’t know you were running a 3D printing service too :D…You guys are doing gods work!!!

I just started a few weeks ago! I’m trying to hit a 1000 hours of printing (halfway there) before I offer it as a public service, right now I’m just dealing with friends (B2C ha) and colleagues (B2B lol) for functional prints (handles, holders, clips, etc) that they need around their clinics and cubicles.

It’s an incredibly rewarding hobby. If you’ve ever enjoyed cutting something out with a scissors and glueing it to something as a kid, you’d enjoy it too.

In fact, I’d encourage every member here to get one, either a Kingroon KP3S (19K) or a Bambu Lab A1 mini (22k). But our climate is very humid and these plastics are hygroscopic, so I spend a considerable amount of time keeping filament dry.

Every time I have a conversation with you I end up buying some gear…I think I am now gonna get one for myself…

Good god man the Kingroon and the Bambu are in entirely different leagues. Please do not get anything from a brand like Kingroon unless you can get it for like half the price of a Bambu, and even then be prepared for a lot of headaches.

I’d love for you to share a negative review of the KP3S, I haven’t been able to find one.

But yes, the A1 Mini is a good purchase. Just keep in mind that you’re buying into a closed ecosystem with proprietary parts and firmware.

@mods, can you move off-topic posts to the 3d printing thread? 2-3,5-this.

can you guys share the stuff you’ve printed, could help if anyone else is looking for similar stuff

Got these mounts printed superfast (delivered same day locally). Fantastic print quality. Leaving feedback now.

If anyone is interested in the STLs -

I believe sharing costs for the printed items would also help others.

Buddy you would have tried the 10" rack for your setup

Maybe in the future. As of now, needed an under desk mount.

the 3 parts cost him 345, excluding shipping

Ordered 4 pairs of Cooler Master HDD rails. Cost 120 excluding shipping. Working perfectly.
