So i found this battery on Amazon after some AI and googling research.

Buy DIGITEK® (Platinum FW 50) Platinum Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery for Sony DSLR Camera | Compatibility - Alpha NEX-3, 5, 6 Series Cameras, DSLR-SLT-A33, DSLR-SLT-A55 Online at Low Prices in India - Amazon.in
Can anybody inform me of Digitek’s Product Quality and customer support in this case ? The reviews are conflicting.
It seems like I’d have to buy a separate charger from Digitek themselves to be able to charge this.
I’ll appreciate some advice and alternatives on this, as this will be used for regular shoots for work so I’m hoping to use a relatively reliable battery.
Get an original battery imo. While i have never seen one fail but have read stories of third party batteries catching fire before.
Digitek is hit and miss.. I’ve used the larger NPF batteries from them for accessories and their performance was strictly OK.
I’ve used Watson and Ravpower ones in the past and they’ve been working fine
Having said that the original batteries are quite expensive, especially for the smaller FW-50 ones.
Go through this thread. Both the a6300 and ZV-E10 use the same NP-FW50 batteries.
I recently got a sony zv e10 camera to play around however the battery backup is not that great. Hence I am looking for spare batteries for it.
It takes NP-FW50 batteries.
I took a look at sony batteries and they are like 5k for one battery whichis absurd.
So, I am looking into suggestions as to which battery I should get.
I would like to know first hand experience of users using third party batteries.
Any do’s and don’ts.
Help me out fellas.
