I have one in my work machine. So far so good. Its running pretty well. No issues. Overclocks to 580/1240. Runs whatever I throw on it without much trouble though anything that uses fp blends brings it to a crawl. The machine is AMD 64 3200+,(clawhammer @2.5 GHz), Asus K8N-E Deluxe, 3GB Transcend.
WOH!!! 3 GB… Thats some amount of RAM…

great card. works fine. running it on default clock speed & ram speed.
not tried ocing since temp is on the higher side. maybe the temp is higher on the via board for this card.
all games works perfectly, doom3 & hl2 both @ 1600 & 8x aniso without any prob. although farcry wont work at 1600 that good.
What about your 3DMark’05 scores?
Which drivers r u using…AFAIK thr’s a temp bug in drivers …try sme newer drivers

Intel 865g mobo (need to change that to overclock the p4, i hear it overclocks very well)
512mb ram (planning to double that soon)
right now using 66.93 since project snowblind doesnt work on newer drivers.
anyways the temp is always on the higher side with all drivers, this is always the case with via mobo’s even the processor runs a little hotter than compared to nforce.
anyways there arent any probs though of restarting etc. the threshold is 145.

Congrats Rocky ! What PSU are you using - 20/24/20-24pin adaptor ? And what RAM ?
temp is 60 - 65 on idle & i guess around 85 - 95 on full load, works fine though.
dunno y its so high, maybe its showing the temp incorrectly, or maybe its just that hot, doesnt matter though since it works perfectly & its got 3 year warranty.
but usually ive noticed from kt266 to kt800 all via boards seem to run processor at much higher temps than nforce boards, so i guess the gfx also might be running a bit hotter on the via board, cause i know other ppl with nforce3 & nforce2 whose temps are this high.
Yup…its showing temp incorrectly…AFAIK thr’s a temp bug in the WHQL drivers by nvidia…mayb they fixed it with thier latest release…
try sme other drivers..
