Hi, is there any reliable, free alternative email client which can replace Thunderbird ? Thunderbird works great but the UI is too sad for Windows 10. Thanks.
Give Mailspring a shot. Kanmail is worth trying too, if you’re into kanban boards.

Mailspring looked nice but could not make it the default for Win 11.

Kanmail looks pretty cool but it seems that you got to buy a license to use.
If looking primarily at improving on the Thunderbird usability, Betterbird is an option. Personally I have not used it though since my requirements are met by Fairmail on my mobile.

Aah, looks like the source-available part was enough for me to forget a regular user’s standpoint.
