Since you haven’t mentioned about HDD & other stuffs so,i’m leaving them aside..

Proccy- AMD AthlonII X4 620 - 5k

M/B- Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H - 4.4k

Ram - G.Skill/Corsair 2*2GB 800MHz DDRII -4.5k

GPU - Sapphire ATI 5770 - 10.5k

PSU - Corsair VX450 -4k

Total - 28.4k..

Best Config IMO..

But if you want strictly 25k then get a Gigabyte Superb PSU for 2.2k

so,Total would be 26.6k..

it’s still a bit more..

better get a Corsair PSU..

No no 28k is also fine … will that ram oc on that motherboard ? Also how much will the cpu oc to on that motherboard ? Yes thats a very nice config with ddr3 ram :open_mouth: … also he wants only cpu+gpu+ram+psu …

^ i’m sorry i made a mistake it’s not a DDR3 Supporting Motherboard..

it’s DDR2 Compatible..

& yes you can OC the ram easily to 1066MHz on that board..

Every CPU overclocks a lil bit differently..

Ex:- if 2 people buy same processor & same motherboard then it is unlikely that they are going to get the same overclocking results..

my suggestion is that if you want to overclock this thing to hell then get a Noctua D14 or DH14 whatever the model is for 5.2k & then i’m pretty much sure that you’ll be able to overclock this thing by 1GHz..

But the stock is also enough to play games right ? Also if it doesnt support ddr3 then which ram to buy ?

If you are planning to upgrade again in 1-1.5 years, then you will be better with Phenom II X2 550 B.E. as its faster in games than X4 620, and a better overclocker !

So please then tell which mobo+ram for Phenom II X2 550 be ?

The same motherboard can be used with 550 BE (if you are planning for DDR2), or MSI 770-P45 (4.5k) if you are planning to go for DDR3.

RAM :

DDR2 : Corsair XMS2 800 Mhz Kit 2 x 2 GB-- 4.5k-5k

DDR3 : Gskill 1333 Mhz or 1600 Mhz kit 2 x 2 GB – 5.2k (1333) / 6.5k (1600)

ddr3 would be decently futureproof . so this is it ?

Proccy- Phenom II X2 550 B.E

M/B- MSI 770-P45

Ram - Gskill 1333 Mhz DDR3 4GB

GPU - Sapphire ATI 5770 - 10.5k

PSU - Corsair VX450 -4k

can please tell the cost of the first 3 things ?

Did you read my post in your previous thread?
Check http://www.deltapage.com

The processor is around 4.5-5k
Avoid the x4 620 as the main purpose of your rig., AFAI can see is gaming.

Get the Gigabyte MA785GMT UD2H instead of that MSI board, a bit expensive but worth it. Also consider the GA-MA770T-UD3P if you get a good deal on it, and the GA-770TA-UD3 (cheap board, supports USB3, not available here yet though AFAIK). Remember that unlike the 785 board(HD 4200), these have no onboard display, but likely even better overclockers.
The UD2H retails for ~5.5k. The other two should also be under 6k.

If you have the extra 1k budget, get the VX450, else a CX400/Seasonic 380 is enough.

Also, looking at your gaming resolution, the 5770 will be a bit of an overkill unless you are planning a monitor upgrade very soon. If not, get something like the HD 4850 and save some cash.

Good luck with the purchases.

Yea he will buy bigger monitor soon . Thats why the big ass card. So final config is this ?

Proccy- Phenom II X2 550 B.E ----------- 5k

M/B- GA-MA785GMT-UD2H ------------ ??

Ram - Gskill 1333 Mhz DDR3 4GB ---------- 5.2k

GPU - Sapphire ATI 5770 - -------------- 10.5k

PSU - Sansonic 380W ------------------ 3k

m/b- ga-ma785gmt-ud2h -------------- 5450/-

Plus u get free Coolermaster Thermal Paste HTK-002 with the combo :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
