What do you think are the biggest challenges and benefits of moving data centers to space? How might this shift impact global technology infrastructure?
My Take:
I think its a good move considering that there are lot of water and energy related concerns by locals wherever data centers are being built. Some legitimate and some fanned by local intermediaries looking to get their pound of flesh.
While the tech is evolving and we get much more computing at much less power consumption each year, the demand will far outweigh the rate of improvement.
Plus the space tech will also benefit the from advancement and experimentation due to this move.
