Ultimate WATER PURIFIER Buying Guide.!

post with Images help lot more

image of what? there are bunch of generic aqua’s at the lower price band. aquapure, aquafresh, aquatec, aquagrand, hence my aqua.

NO.
While clearly these two values are referring to separate mixtures, in comparative terms 200mg/L is like 20% and 200 ppm is 0.2%.
PPM means Parts Per Million.

Has anyone tried [BePure nano-filteration](’

)?
I live in Bangalore and I get around 350ppm in my area. Can someone recommend any good purifiers?

1 mg/L = 1 parts per million (ppm) (source google)

You can bypass the RO process by disconnecting the RO membrane chamber from the chain of various filters.** **The inlet water after passing through the pre filters should to uv and post carbon filter(if any) then onto storage tank.

Do you have impurities in water? The tds isnt that high to need ro treatment. Any UF system will do. Search for RO water purifier near me on google and get it done by your local vendor. Cheaper and should get faster service. Dont go for Alkaline water or whatever as that is a gimmick.

I mean image of water filter at your place, using since 2015, it seems good company, we don’t know, even the same company may manufacturing few Branded Purifiers

Yes, it’s mostly from the water truck, but also from BBMP lines, a borewell and I have rainwater harvesting as well. It’s a mix of lots of different waters so tds varies between 300-380.

I found dealers who are just selling brands like kent and aquaguard. Did you mean I should get a subscription for water purifier?

My water filter is not branded. Just a local make. Aqua something.

meant something like this. similar to what i use →

https://www.amazon.in/R-K-AQUA-FRESH-INDIA-Technology/dp/B09V83KBYN

can be serviced by yourself.

for your rainwater harvesting how many layers of filtering are you doing?300 to 380 tds isnt bad

good that with generic user can save compare to branded but than spares are not available and if available not perfectly fit, as @@6pack don’t have good experience with replacement/spares

most of the generic models are similar in shape and size. nowadays, you have full length and truncated filters of varying sizes available. I started service of my RO from 2016 or 2017 when I saw the the entire kit was available online on ebay for 1.1k. since then i’ve been buying the entire service kits online (ebay or amazon).

Thanks, I’ll look into these.

It’s a double layer filter.

RWH systems do very well if they have a four layer filter (Gravel, Sand,Charcoal,Pebble). We are in the process of redoing some of our RWH filtering in our society now. Is this double layer filter prefabbed?

Correct, My bad. I messed up in units.

would like to click image of your Generic Water Purifier and post here, it’s good that still it’s spare available in market and one can replace/install it without Tech person help, technician charge 500-700 for first installation + Rs.2500/3000 as 12 months AMC

By the way, which brand is better to prefer, for a tier-3 city?
My relatives are old people, they just want something that works well and service people that doesn’t cheat. Their experience with aquaguard has been the worst.

My generic RO system. Bought in 2015 for 4~4.5k. Can be maintained by ourselves as there are no complex parts. Membrane last changed 2.5yrs ago. Input TDS is 750+ and output RO water is 50~75TDS. Only issue so far, it started to leak near the water display section in the storage tank. Sealed it with epoxy resin and hardner. Thats the brown lining

For Every one who is using RO Water System, please [click here and read](’

) Why is the RO + UV water purifier not a good option? and let me know if it’s true.

By now it’s like common knowledge that more minerals are removed by RO. Almost every model now is RO, without this thing options are limited and we always might not feel confident without RO. But that’s the water we get everywhere whether we use purifiers or buy cans or bottles from shops/brands.
The default water we get from govt, is getting a little harmful than before.

The question is what we can do about it or how we can go back to having good old water.

how about installing & using NON RO water filter?

Too what extent we would all be confident about drinking non ro water is the deal.
