I told you guys put a bar or stars rather than ladders etc.

Just like army and police does

Then it will look like those typical CID award forums. One star havalrdar and 5 star corrupted dcp etc.
What we are doing is something cool and experimenting.

On a tangential note, really appreciate the mods who are still so active and even redesigning site features after so long. When most places wld be happy to remain the same.

Just thinking out aloud here. Unique titles for ladder is fine. But a system which allows any user to know the reputation [score/how long they spent on TE/contribution] of a user would be good. I know that you can hover over username to see more details now. But a system which can be easily interpreted instead of looking through a legend would be pretty good too.

Earned Ranks which can be easily interpreted like in google’s case silver, bronze, gold with different levels. Can add platinum, diamond, Adamantite for additional levels.

We have assigned community rank like moderator, dealer, enclave plus etc.
Earned ranks are simpler here as compared to Google. You dont need to remember the sequence of colors and figure out how much is the bar filled, you just need to know your ABCD.

Of course benefits at each rank is something that we need to look at in future.

I agree. It was just a thought so I shared. Implementing the current changes would be work too. I am just a free user, using the site which has been pretty helpful for more than a decade.

Take life a little less seriously bro. Deep breath. You have set on an impossible path. Its not possible to go from A-Z while also making the tags convey a higher level of mastery after each alphabet. Like I dont think they made words like that. But yes seems good enough now.
Just add a few artificial like and posts to mine and make me the ORACLE.

Been here for two decades and am completely beyond that. All I am saying is, make life easier for me by suggesting alternatives instead of just shooting down something. I am not going to read through the adjectives that start with P :borg:

Pilgrim can be a step up from Oracle. Followed by Quasar instead of Questor. And as you said, its not entirely possible to have a ladder with hierarchical meaning. Something will always feel out of place.

I have never seen this “enclave plus” rank. If possible, can you post an example.
