I have a pc with max 750 watt power consumption and I need an ups for its safety.
Need advice for what ups to get
I am yet to buy an hone inverter for home so maybe an combo suggestion.
If second hand options available are they reliable.
Are ther any cheaper/DIY option or alternative from experience.
APC 2200VA Line Interactive UPS, is one choice.
Good video but is in Hindi, switch to english subtitles in case you need it.
4-5 Year is typical battery replacement time and inspection of electronics like capacitors, they wear out due to heat.
Other members can recommend other options. I guess cyberpower is one people were discussing about in some thread.
I have a 850watt PSU, and the only all in one UPS i could find compatible was the APC 2200va as previously mentioned here. But it doesn’t have much runtime (Runtime Graph), this is the cheapest option to buy. Anything DIY (Inverter/UPS + Batteries 24v) will cost you upwards of 25k depending on your retailer, but the runtime will be much higher because you can get higher capacity batteries.

I decided to go for 1.6 va microtek legend, it’s max affordability. Hope it gives atleast 40 secs till shutdown.
It should as long as battery hasn’t gotten too old. 1600VA is 1600*0.6=960W & any typical ups battery deteriorates with time (from my experience, 1-2 years from battery mfg date which can be different from ups mfg date).

better to get some pure sine wave solution. These modified sine wave ups stress out the psu.
