Have they accepted return ?
Sad to hear, the return should be smooth though. BTW what’s the actual capacity of this RAM and who is the DRAM chip manufacturer (hynix/samsung/micron??)?
That too by clicktech!! Any chance it’s from Bengaluru?
Why can’t Amazon do open box delivery like Flipkart!
I mean it’s fine, I like Amazon’s approach more than Flipkart’s because Flipkart doesn’t use openbox to to help customer but to F** them and transfer entire responsibility on customers and/or delivery personnel. Try getting some help when an item looks good but doesn’t function the way it’s supposed to, you are F**ed.
I don’t see any issue with Amazon, You ordered something, it turned out to be something different, you return it straightforward.
Flipkart will treat you bad no matter if you are a new customer or someone with 20L worth of order history in a decade. Amazon actually looks at your order history when helping you out with issues.
I’ve been through that with Flipkart with my LG g8x.
Amazon does have easier returns and has OTP, secure package ID but nothing seems to help them because it’s being changed in the warehouse itself by the workers. One of my package from an individual seller shipped using Amazon shipping was swapped for a toy in bengaluru.
Yeah its almost always sellers and Amazon knows how to harass and extort sellers so I am.with them.
For anyone hating on Amazon, it’s the best system we have. I hope Amazon can stay Amazon for a long…long time. The worst that can happen with Amazon is you miss a discount, an offer oe dont get a product on time, with flipkart is just harrassment. You are paying flipkart for extra harrassment.
Thats what I expected cuz Even DDR3 is valuable right now. You should be fine.
My friend is building a computer, had to buy 16 GB DDR5 6000MhZ CL36 for 16,500 Rs.
On rare occasions, Amazon wouldn’t even bother to initiate a return and just give the refund anyways.
Yeah cuz Amazon knows how to screw sellers like these, they keep things in balance. Flipkart being Indian retail and Walmart subsidiary just wants to F*** customers with every purchase, sometimes Flipkart doesn’t even provide a warranty invoice for stuff so you can’t claim warranty for your product. Never order anything important from Flipkart.
Guys any info about those ram prices coming down?
2026 end. Probably. Make do with what you have now, don’t panic buy.
I too have 8gb 2400mhz and 8gb 3200mhz ram running in dual channel without an issue at 2400mz together.
I have 16GB which is sufficient for me except for same rare scenarios where it got full and I had to clear apps.
If things go like ddr3, then maybe we won’t have proper ddr4 rams by the time this settles.
Anyone notice a narrative here that “prices aren’t coming down anytime soon”?
Normally that’d be considered helpful consumer advice but when so many difference voices are saying the exact same thing, it feels like:
What do all these different people stand to gain by furthering this narrative?
Are they worried about a recession in pc gaming, or something more short term (q4 revenue)?
If something the seller bought for ₹30k is now available brand new for ₹15k, no buyer here is going to pay ₹20k — in fact, they’d get mocked on this forum for even trying.
Likewise, if someone bought an item for ₹10k and the new price later shoots up to ₹30k, why should that seller be expected to factor in what they originally paid?
Pricing should reflect current market value — demand, supply, and condition — not the seller’s past purchase price in either direction.
I would consider current market price and apply depreciation and arrive at a proper pricing.
