Definitely an IEM.
Moondrop chu 2 or Tangzu waner..
Both sound great for their price.
+1 for tangzu wan’er sg if you want a neutral response
My streak of missing great deal must need to stop man .
You can also consider 7hz salnotes Zero
Are iems comfortable for 6-7 hours of use case .
Also can i sleep while puting them on ?
Comfortable for long use, though they can feel heavy. But, you definitely can’t sleep with them on.
Past is past…you will have chance next time. For now you can focus on buying new if you can’t find used deals.
You can but wouldn’t want to as it there is high chance of breakage. I have slept multiple times wearing it and had 1 incident of the connector pin bracket breaking. If I remember correctly it was edx pro😂.
I love my KZ Castor Pro, they are on bulky side but comfortable for long time use, not while sleeping though. I would recommend HPZ to purchase audio gear
I have slept wearing a meze alba. No problems. My moondrop chu 1 and chu 2 were causing fatigue though. I never dared to sleep wearing Dita project M because it’s more expensive and i can’t afford to break it. Anyway, i have stopped wearing IEMs when I sleep. Using a small speaker for ambient music now. Too much sound is bad for your ears
Go for KZ ZEX been using it for 3 years. And better than Castor and some other
If dogs barking at night is a thing, what do I do, especially in winter time when the ceiling fans are switched off? ANC headphones?
Ear plugs are better in that case. Or some cotton. IEMs are not for noice cancellation.
Tried ear plugs, don’t work as barking is high pitched. What I usually do is put in my IEMs, put on rain or fan sounds on Spotify and put on a timer in the app. Still a little bit of hassle but works.
Get a sony xm4/5. My xm4 works like a charm in such situations
The chances of breakage of headphones is very high during sleep and xm 5 is infamous for the hinge breakage issue.
You should look for a good cable that doesn’t get tangled easily and is long. Most of the reason why I don’t use my iems is the cable length. It’s also very unwieldy to take them off with one hand after you’re done eating. I have gotten water and dal in the mic many times.
I have done a complete 180 on wireless earbuds. I got a pair of realme t310 for working out and now I wear them for everything. What they chinese have done for cheap earbuds is truly amazing.
Anyways you should go for the realme buds 3 if you want to go wired. You can get 3 for 1500.
What are you going to use it for? Music? Games? Casual?
Moondrop Chu II and 7Hz Salnotes Zero are great, but if you are used to a lot of bass in your music, you might not end up liking their sound signature (or might need some getting used to)
