one of it’s fans came broken as the original post mentioned. and running it with one fan was abrupt.
on just 1% use the single fan used to spin like jet engine. I anyway planned to use a separate fan over it.
so i cleaned the gpu (it was very dirty from inside) added thermal pads to the VRMs, added cooler master cryofuze thermal paste and then attached a 120mm fan to it. it works absolutely fine.
i bought it to use in linux as proxmox. but it isnt doing me any good.
as people asked for the temperatures, kept furmark running for 23 minutes, while i was connected to parsec (remotely) the temperature was 85 degrees, once i close parsec leave it for some time and rejoin the temperatures go to around 81 degrees.
these are normal temperatures i believe, if you wanna go step further than this then i would suggest attach a PWM fan to it instead. and manually control it when gaming.
