Activision has announced a new James Bond game. Due out this autumn on Xbox 360 and PS3, 007 Legends features a new story that ties together six Bond movies, including the forthcoming Skyfall.

It's being developed by Eurocom, the UK studio previously responsible for the decent GoldenEye 007: Reloaded title.

Naturally, the game will feature loads of signature Bond gadgets as well as familiar weapons, fast cars, and exotic loocations. Alongside the main campaign the title will also feature a new set of single-player Mi6 Ops Missions, a sort of spec-ops mode first seen in GoldenEye: Reloaded. These tasks will also allow players to take part as Bond's allies as well as his enemies.

Local four-player split-screen and online multiplayer modes complete the package. These options will apparently include stealth and investigation elements as well as standard TDM and CTF derivatives.

The last Bond title Bloodstone was okay. More of a hit and miss. Barely any stealth for a Bond game. But that was from a different developer. I am yet to play Goldeneye 007: Reloaded from Eurocom. Will reserve my comments for now.

Last few bond games have been fail. Activision makes real bad low budget games.

Activision is only a publisher. I found Bloodstone to be quite OK - not all that bad, not the best either.

Considering the upcoming Bond movie - Skyfall is highly anticipated this year, I am eagerly looking forward to this one.

Because the recent Bond titles (post Hacktivision acquiring the license) have became so ridiculous, that it's not even funny anymore. EA understood who James Bond was and thus we got true Bond games like Tomorrow Never Dies, Everything or Nothing & From Russia With Love. These game symbolized who Bond truly was; a true British secret service agent. And the rest as we say, is history.

OMG that's a major insult to Moonraker! :(

I did not honestly expect the visuals to suck this bad.

@Gannu: I just visited the official website and it seems this game is up for a PC release too. That's odd. I didn't notice that when it was announced, or I may have missed it. But it now states Steamworks amongst the other platforms.

007 Legends The Official Website

So I guess this needs to move out into the PC/Gaming section.

Friend that does not mean it is coming for pc,PSN accounts can be merged with steam account or in other words PSN is supported by steam. Therefore it still is not officially confirmed for pc.

Hello friend. Here's your confirmation:

James Bond: 007 Legends is coming to the PC and will be a Steamworks title

Great news for James Bond fans as James Bond: 007 Legends will be coming to the PC. The game was originally slated only for consoles but according to the game’s official website, it will be coming to our beloved platform and will be a Steamworks title. Unfortunately, Activision has not revealed whether the PC version will be delayed or not, though the press release states that all versions will be released this October.

007 Legends features an original, overarching storyline featuring six classic Bond films offering the most diverse Bond gaming experience yet! As with the feature films, 007 Legends equips players with state-of-the-art spy gadgets, an arsenal of weapons, including Bond’s signature Walther PPK, and sleek vehicles as they jet off to exotic locations. Use Bond’s quick wits, class and style to take down notorious villains and their brutal henchmen, perform impressive stunts and of course… gorgeous Bond women.

North American release would be Steamworks only, while Europe will have retail and Steam. Hope this suffices. :)

I've never played Blood Stone, but at that time when I was watching the trailers and reviews I remember it had really nice visuals and looked like a 'short and sweet ride' kind of game.
