@Andy: Tried every possible thing with that video but the thing refuses to sync properly.I guess .ts files are just screwed up badly.I had got 2 Matrix Movies in full 1080p resolution in .mkv format & they run perfectly fine.No issues both in VLC or Media Player Classic. So my system is very much capable of pulling off 1080p stuff too. Also I had tried out a test with one clip which was provided as a demo in one of the Chip DVD's for a Blu Ray testing in .mp4 format. The file was around 1.2GB or something for a mere 12 minute video. That file played extremely smooth. No issues there too.So I guess either this file or the format is messed up.
@eagle:I have heard on Matroksa boards about the .ts working with Power DVD & some other DVD playback software but didn't really try it out till now. Will give it one last shot if possible else chuck it.It's either .avi, .mp4 or .mkv which would cut it for me in High Definition's case.:hap2:
@Roshkm:Been a long time since I region hacked it but I guess you can find the steps over DVD Player, Blu-ray and HD DVD Player region codes Just put in the model number & you'll get a few easy steps to get the job done.
So true. It's crappy seek bar is what spoils VLC for me. Otherwise, it's really good.
But, I now only use it to play stuff that mplayer classic can't play due to it's poor navigation.
also try using mediainfo for file details...gspot has not been updated long time...are you using latest haali media splitter..and yes what renderer are you using some of these bottleneck the cpu ...in case you do not know about renderer it means you did not chnge it and should not be issue here..
