10mbps at 849 From You Broadband

In Mumbai there is a service provider name 5Net who offers 10Mbps (DLD Speed: 1-3MBps) @ Rs11,000 per year which is really good.

One of friend is enjoying in Navi Mumbai. !Damn!
 
Cause Beam are very well established in Hyderabad and if anyone is to compete with them they HAVE to offer competitive plans.

They even seem to target beam audience but its not going to happen as you broadband service is worst. earlier when i asked for connection he asked me to agree to his conditions. :S

some funny conditions were:

1. I should get them atleast 4 customers in my lane(including me) or else they cant provide feasibility.:@

2. Sales asking Dont call my number if any technical issues.:ohyeah:
 
You broadband is not here in kasturi nagar, Bangalore :@

No decent internet plan available here, have been waiting for airtel people to install their connection for almost a month now. :(
 
Immediately called them after seeing this. Paid for the 12mbps/1mbps 25gb plan. Only gripe is he insisted the installation charges are 700 for these new hurricane plans vs 550 for old plans. Didnt get the logic though. But couldnt wait. Paid 2399(700 installation, 700 deposit, 999 plan charges). He said everything will be up by tomorrow evening. Service "seems" to be good and the sales guy doesnt seem to be dumb. Must see how this goes. Shifting from bsnl 512kbps UL.
And btw YOU broadband is dynamic ip which is a life saver for me. :ohyeah:

do they also provide wifi modem/router - just like bsnl
 
I'd advise people not to take You.

I had it since the days it was called Iqara and the service is just horrendous. The network keeps going off randomly and they take ages to respond to complaints and they still owe me a refund of 1.5k which they just refused to give!
 
I have lot of apprehensions regarding YOU's service cos of the many negative reviews it has got. you can just google for the reviews.
 
I too had iqara and got it disconnected due to bad service many years ago. But the plan was so good, I had to select YOU again. BTW everything is up and running and the service presently seems to be pretty good. No downtime till now. Getting speeds around 800-900KBps max. Should I be worried as the plan is 12Mbps. Shouldnt I be getting atleast 1.2MBps? Plus speedtest acts weird. It shows download speed of 0.7Mbps and upload speed of 1.7Mbps mostly, which is obviously wrong. The speedtest in YOU website shows 11.1Mbps down and 5.6Mbps up.

probably u should complain.. They should atleast provide 80% of the subscribed speeds.. that means 9.6mbps(megabits) and u should get 1.2Mb/sec download speed atleast..
