I'm looking for netbook/laptop with screen slightly bigger than 10" as I found it too small for using comfortably but 11.6" feels good as well as easy to carry. This PC will be use for surfing the Internet, document processing & presentations etc.

After some googling I found the followings:

All of them have wif-fi/Bluetooth/2 or3-USB,11.6", 1366 x 768 HD TLF WLED.

If I go by Processor Benchmark ranking, I think Dell Inspiron 11z should be good one.

Please let me know where I can buy "Dell Inspiron 11z" in Pune/online.

1. Dell Inspiron 11z: Rs.~2?,000/-
Processor: SU4100(1.3GHz/800MHz/2MB Cache)(CPU Benchmarks Rank 168)
Features: Windows7 HomeBasic 64bit/11.6"/1.385kg/4GB/500GB/HDMI

2. MSI Wind12 U210: Rs.~22,000/-
AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 1.6-GHz (CPU Benchmarks Rank 237)
Features: XP Home/12.1"/1.38-kg/1GB/160GB/Bat:6-cell

3. Asus Eee PC 1101HA : Rs.~24,000/-
Intel Atom Z520 1.33-GHz(CPU Benchmarks Rank 317)

Asus Eee PC 1101HA. Good build quality, nice screen.

Thanks Karthi007, I also liked Asus 1101HA especially its great battery life(~9Hrs) but sadly it has older & slow Atom CPU Z520 instead of the common (and faster) N270/N280.

I would suggest, you actually test these prospective buys at local shops before deciding. Nothing like checking it yourself which one best suits your purpose.

Based on specs alone, I would pick up the Dell.

Thanks....I just realized that in this Dell, VGA port is replaced with HDMI. How to connect this to old projectors only with VGA port ? Is there any small & low cost converter available which can do this ?

Thanks

I suggest you to actually find out the Dell 11z's price, coz last I checked some month back it was 35k at Dell Store & has some minuses like 3 cell battery ( or 4cell) which gives miniscule battery life, HDMI port only ( as u'v already pointed out )...

35K is too much for 11.6", even Inspiron 14 is priced at 27,900 at Dell's website....I'm trying to call all the Dell resellers in Pune but no body is replying. I even visited one of them at Tilak Road, Pune but they are not showing any interest in giving any information or price.

I recommend you wait for dell V13, its around the corner.

@ all the Dell guys on the forum, is V13 available for purchase?

Any idea on Indian pricing?

Why dont you check out the deal by raksrules in Market section?
He has a MSI 210X having VGA and HDMI for 16.8K and hes currently in pune...

I will also consider Acer Aspire AS1410.
