I want to buy a 120mm fan for Zebronics lava. which one should I get.
Do all fans throw air out or some sucks in too or all the fans do both? I already have two 80mm side fans but i think they throw air out. With 20 degree room temp my case temp is 30-33 degrees. is it ok

You can get a GlacialTech fan if you want a good one (around Rs.500 for a LED one), Else just ask your vendor for a cheap one.

Fans do both (duh!), There will be markings on the Fan on which side it blows, Just reverse it and it sucks :|

Temperatures are well within acceptable limits! (room temp itself gets 40 degrees during summer here :-/)

hey man 30 is ok :P does not matter

btw my old amd 3000 without any fan is 25 ide and full loading is 30-39

without any fan and my cabietn is open so many air flow can flow it ;)

Where are you from?

Does the Zebby Lava have space to attach a 120mm fan?? :S

All Zebby cabbies come with side fans blowing air out- remove and refit to blow air in. :)

Here is the generally accepted norm wrt case fans-
Front fans as intake blowing/sucking air into the case.
Side panel fans also as intake.
Rear fans as exhaust.
Top fans(optional- if applicable) as exhaust.

A cheap 120mm fan with good cfm but a tad noisy will bethe Glacialtech quad LED 120mm fan.
Available for 350/- or lower in New Delhi.
400-450/- for the same in Mumbai.

Many air don't flow,
unless you suck or blow. :bleh:
(Rhymes too. :P )

^^ stop picking on de kid.. spammer :P

at OP.. you could also consider the Yate Loon D12SM which is avl from Lammy for Rs 250+vat...

@BikeEnstein

Will reverse the side fans to suck air in and add a 120mm fan at rear to blow it out... hmmmmm. This will keep the PC cool :D

a good ventilation system would be a front intake and a rear exhaust (dont know about the lava case though)

If u have a Zebronics Lava cabibby.....it should have a front air intake of 120mm....my friend has one has installed a Glaciertech Fan....His cabby has the temperature is 33-35C.

lava doesn't have front intake fan. Although u can install one near the hdd bay so that it blows air towards to mobo but it won't bring in cool air as the front panel is closed. When i switch on the side fans (blowing air into the cabby) my temps decrease by 4-5 degrees. Will try reversing them and see the difference.

I am sorry for my mistake...my friends Cabinet is a Zebronics Antibiotics...and not a LAVA...So sorry no intake from the front...

Added a 120mm exhaust Cooler Master fan in rear. Side fans already blowing air into Cabinet. Cabinet temps came down by 4-5 degrees and idles @ 28C
Though not too sure as winter too is increasing in intensity here mercury is falling :P
But this Lava cabby is funny man. I tried setting the side fans to run anytime temp go >25C but after each restart it reverts back to the old setup of >35C :@

If I can run all the fans at the same time i think i should not have more than 23 to 24C when room temp is around 15C

thats the best possible setup for you.... side fans pulling in and rear exhaust...
its because the heatsink fan on the proc. also pulls down into the heatsink :D
