^^ exactlyyyyy... thats what am saying.. when SATA which is better than PATA is cheap then why go for a PATA for xpensive one ;).. the scenario is exacly like DDR2 RAM Vs. DDR1 RAM.. DDR1 is outdated and is xpensive.
