The AMD heatpipe cooler is equal to or slightly better than the XP-90. But an air cooler and a water cooling system are not exactly comparable. I dont know the specifics of the water kit but it would probably be better than the heatpipe cooler for sure.

i dont kno but i`ve not been getting enough cooling on the water cooling kit to keep it on now...

right now im just using the stock cooling... and my system idles at 47 and wit load at 55

ok...one suggestion. DO NOT BUY BIGWATER! waste of money and one of the worst watercoling kits you can buy. Go custom, cheaper and much better.

Second, the stock opteron cooling is definetly not better than an xp-90...first of all it uses a low powered 80MM fan and the design isnt as efficient.

kev...
can u give me an opinion on TT bigwater v/s the Opteron Stock coolin..

and can u give me a link to xp-90 and price if poss..

afaik the XP-90C is better than An SI-120 but about the stock vs bigwater..

yes...bigwater is better than the stock cooler, but then again any water cooling should be. If you buy bigwater, your 1. wasting money 2. buying a bad product and 3. being plain stupid.

Go to frozencpu.com to check out different watercooling products you could put together.

for XP-90 prices go to TechEnclave

GL :)

^^Might be true but the xp90c is gonna be noisier at the same temps than the si120 cos of 92mm vs 120mm. Right now the ultra-120 is easily the best cooler. Its arnd 10 degree cooler than the TT-BT and probably the best aircooler you can get at the moment.

OMG :O Bastids :@ They keep making a better cooler whenever I get one :@

ok guys thanx for all the info

i`ll just look around all the products u`ve mentioned and make a buy soon

i`m just lookin for a really efficient cooler whic can cool the cpu... air/water dont matter.. and i dont think that the noise would be a factor too...

10 degrees is a bit much... using the same max cfm fan for both i would think the temps would be closer.

Stock TTBT fan is sh1t lol
